First I want to say this is no reflection on the clerk who works there by the name of Connie. She is a wonderful person and I always enjoy our interactions. As for the others, I have no idea and they no doubt have nothing to do with the matter I will be discussing. It most likely is a corporate problem.
So I have heard in the recent past to carefully scan your receipts because corporations are making money off their clients by charging more than the advertised price on many things. I have been doing so and have now had four instances where I was overcharged at four different businesses.
Tonight I purchased four banquet brand turkey pot pies. The advertised price was $1.50 each or four for $5.00. I was charged $1.35 for each of them. I realize it is only 40 cents but, how many other customers bought these or other items with incorrect pricing and at how many other stores and how many times.
I did go back in and snap pictures of the pricing and kept the receipt as I plan to post similar reviews everywhere I can think to do so. It made me wonder how many other things I was overcharged for at this business and how much money they had made off those purchases. On the way out I encountered a lady outside smoking and showed her the ticket and expressed my displeasure. She offered to to fix it if I came back in. As we all know, time is money and it was not worth the 15 minutes for 40 cents to me. Corporate probably counts on that being the case in most of these overcharges.
I have not spent another penny at the three other businesses where this happened to me and I have not stepped foot back in either of them. I am in Pigeon Forge at least two to three times a week and there are plenty of places to shop there. i don't plan on shopping here anymore either.
Some may say this is extreme but, nothing but good has come from my eliminating these shady places from my go to stops. I have learned new things to buy at cheaper rates. I have lost weight from those changes. I have many more options in places to shop and I get to venture out of my home city and see people I would not otherwise see. I get the satisfaction of knowing I did not let them get away with overcharging me. It has all been a win for me.
So in closing - If you shop here, please check your receipt. If you have already pointed this same overcharge out to them prior to this then that shows that it is a corporate policy. If it happens to someone else after this writing it also shows the same. Surely they would have changed it in their system after it was pointed...
Read moreThis place don’t even deserve one star. Had to take our dog to the vet so our pup was in the car. My daughter was going to a birthday party and wanted to buy a birthday card for her friend with her own money... she came out crying because the lady said she seen my daughter put something in her purse. Checked her purse told her they were gonna call the cops, found absolutely nothing. She is 9 unless you truly see her put something in her purse, don’t embarrass a kid like that, and it was probably just because they seen a little mixed girl by herself come in the store. Shame on you. Your lucky I didn’t come in and told you how I felt. Will never go to...

Both my hubby and I needed a bathroom break. There was only one bathroom and it was in need of a good fixing up. Soap and paper towel dispenser broken. Had a bottle of what looked to be watered down soap in it. A pack of napkins to dry your hands with. But they had milk! And the staff .ember we interacted with was very friendly. So I would recommend for anything other than a bathroom...
