Read moreI had two 15 dollars gift cards that I was trying to pay with and the rude guy running the register accidentally voided out the 15 dollars on one of my cards. He then proceeded to get a manger that was as clueless as he was and instead of making it right she made me wait while she called Starbucks helpline to try and get the 15 dollars from them to put back onto the card which makes absolutely no sense in the first place. After waiting 45 minutes of her on the phone and half of my money gone with no drinks she then wanted me to pay the remaining 10 dollars myself. I refused and insisted they just needed to make it right because the money was there but the employee deleted it. She then tried to hand me the phone to deal with customer service instead of her and that was my boiling point and I lost it. I ended up getting my 3 coffees which 2 of them were made completely wrong and they still owed me 4.53 cents that was left over on my card. Read moreI’ve never experienced a Starbucks this bad. I’m pretty sure the pink haired lady was under the influence of something. I said my order, which was a venti iced caramel macchiato with oatmilk, and she paused for a long time. She finally responded with “so you don’t want caramel?” I said it again. She says nothing. I insert my card to pay. Nothing said, no receipt. I left a tip, which I regret doing based on this interaction and the time I had to wait.
I’m not kidding when I say I waited over 30 minutes standing there while I watched them fulfill mobile orders. I seen almost all the workers going constantly. I seen people walking in grabbing entire trays of drinks ahead of me. This food city should NOT have mobile ordering. This Starbucks would not have the quantity of negative reviews if they would just serve customers who walk in the store.
I will also add that many of these workers were older women doing their best vs the typical teenage/younger people in the usual Starbucks. I think the mobile ordering is the biggest problem. I...
