Rude and unprofessional staff. We had two separate mobile orders that we were picking up in the drive-thru. We gave both order codes at the speaker, received both receipts at the first window, but only received one of the orders at the second window. This is where the staff blew my mind with the magnitude of unprofessionalism they displayed.
We explained that we had two orders, but only received one. The woman at the window didnât know how to handle this so she got a coworker (not sure if it was a manager). Without even asking for details, the second staff member came over to the window and told us since we only provided one code at the speaker, we needed to go back through the drive-thru. We then showed her both receipts which is when she, TOO, walked away and got a THIRD staff member. This member was the RUDEST. He came over and asked, âwhat happened?â in a tone that implied we were causing problems. We explained for the third time that we ordered two orders, but only received one. He walked away, then came back and implied that we were trying to get our order twice and asked if âwe movedâ (came back through the drive-thru a second time after really receiving our food). We told him we hadnât moved. He walked away AGAIN, then came back with the order and made a point to tell us they âalready made the orderâ, again implying that we were trying to get our order twice. We pulled out of the drive-thru so as not to hold up the line anymore, but realized they left all fries out of the order. We had to go in to ask for our fries. In total, we spent 25 minutes picking up an order that was preordered through the app. We finally made it back to our cabin rental where we realized they only put meat and cheese on the burgers and left off all other ingredients. Whether or not this part was intentional is unknown, but there is no excuse for the disrespect and unprofessionalism.
An overall 3.5 star google rating for a restaurant chain that already sets the bar pretty low is indicative of just how bad this...
Read moreI actually had to delete a review I did of my hometown McDonaldâs a few years ago because the quality has absolutely plummeted, and last night was the last straw (pun intended). At the drive thru, they forgot my sauces. Like any customer who this happens to, I went inside. The young man at the counter left me shocked and speechless at how rude he was. I told him I had just been to the drive thru, and didnât get my sauces. He looked me up and down very rude, and saidâŠâyou were at the drive thru? What did you order?â (Implying I was lying) I saidâŠ.âum, two 6 piece nuggetsâŠâ went to continue and he cut me off asking for my order number. I saidâŠâwould you like me to go outside and get my bag? I donât have the receipt on me.â He then threw his hands up at me and yelled âcalm down!â This caused guests in the lobby to laugh, which was pretty humiliating. I saidâŠâ I am a local who comes here all the time.â He hurriedly gave me the sauces and ignored me. I asked for his name. The lobby guests laughed again. He ignored me and wouldnât give it. The vibe and rudeness were so overwhelming I went out visibly upset. A worker outside asked if I was ok and I said no. He asked if it was the guests in the lobby, and I said no, it was the man at the counter. I was so upset when I got home my husband called management. Who seemed a bit dismissive, but that they would address it. As someone who has continued to frequent this McDonaldâs even after the downturn in quality, I can now firmly say I will not be going there again. And I will be telling all of my family and friends to avoid it, so they can avoid the unwarranted...
Read moreWe sat at the speaker box for 3 minutes with no answer. I pulled around to the payment window. We sat there for about 5 minutes. A kid walked by peeked out the window and walked away. I was livid at this point but my kid wanted their fish sandwich and a pie and I'd promised him 3 exits ago we would stop. I get to the 2nd window. Another kid looks out at me, looks up at a screen, walks away comes back, repeat. I wave at him. He asks what I am waiting for. I explain no one answering on the speaker and the kid just walking past at the first window. He turns around and tries to get the attention of the woman standing behind him with a headset on chatting with customers on the front counter. She ignores him. He looks very uncomfortable when I ask him to just take my order. He says hold on and runs to the back. He returns with and older lady in a manager outfit. I explain to her again what has happened ask her if she could take my order. The lady with the headset looks our way but continues chatting with the people at the counter. I tell her what my son wants. She verbally directs the kid how to enter the order. I pay. They say it'll be about 3 minutes I say fine. The kid comes back a minute later to tell me they don't have the pie we asked for. Asks if it's okay to replace with another flavor. All in all we spent 19 minutes in the drive thru. I stopped and checked my son's food. Everything was hot and fresh. The experience was terrible but my son was happy. We won't stop...
