Cruisin' Genoa — Restaurant in Genoa Township

I used to love crusins before the "remodel." I would order from there at least 1-2 times a week. I'd recommend them to family and friends and for parties would order pizza to serve. The change in staff/cook definitely changed the food, I have ordered pizza three times since the remodel and every time its like im eating dough that's not fully cooked, the flavor isn't the same it's just awful. I don't enjoy soft, soggy pizza or the changes they've made. I also miss the old staff, letting the original crusin staff go was a mistake, I would walk in and was treated like family, the old staff worked so fluently together. Our first visit was very good. But tonight it differed a lot. Service staff is very friendly but they obviously have a big problem in kitchen production. When we got there I think there was only one other table. We ordered our food and then more people came in. And we seemed to wait a long time for our food. And when it got there it looks very good but was cold. So I called the server and told him and he took it back. We waited quite a long time and when the food came back the order was mixed up and the food was still not warm. Stopped in for lunch and a beer after being recommended here by a local resident. Very glad I stopped in, the place was bright and I was greeted by the bartender “Nick” who was amazing! He was attentive and friendly and handled the whole place himself. But make no mistake, I didn’t have to wait long to order. I had the cheese curds, cheeseburger and two beers. I liked the ambience of the place and Nick made it worthwhile for sure. Plenty of TV’s to keep me occupied while I ate, and they have a small online gambling area for the adults.
