This place has Great people. Our waiter Eric is Great. Anytime you go there just ask for Eric and he'll help you. Speaks both English and Spanish just in case for you Spanish speaking customers. They have a great Buffet from 11am to 2 pm and it's amazing. They have everything from shrimp, fish, chicken, barbeque chicken, French fries, salad fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, grapes, pudding vanilla and chocolate. Rice and beans, tamales, chips and salsa, baked potato with everything on it. Or if you don't want buffet. You can order off the menu like my son does. They have excellent burgers, chicken fried steaks, American food and Mexican food. Just a Great place to eat with your family and get your money's worth. Again our waiter Eric was very polite and ALWAYS made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Mazatlan...

It was a very interesting place to stop at. It is a convenience store, Mexican restaurant and traditional buffet all rolled into one.

Server took my drink order while I looked through the menu and also checked out the buffet which was primarily American dishes. I then received my beverage and small bowl of chips and very small amount of salsa. I had combo number 1 on the menu which consisted of a steak covered in green beans along with Gaucamole and Pico de gallo and a spicy bean soup.

Everything was cooked fairly well, with my only complaint being my Pepsi was in a Styrofoam cup and had ice when I asked for no ice and the salsa was only a few teaspoons full.

But meal was priced accordingly so it makes sense. I will try and stop here again and explore more...

The peple here charge you wherever they want for the food or snaks you buy. There is no price that you can see on the tiket only the gran total. When you arive they give you a smile to distract you, then when you finish eatting and you are ready to pay they just played with the calculator simulating that they are putting the prices for the things your are buyin, but is just a simulation there is no price marked for each merchandice you bought. At the end, they just gess whatever price they want to charge you. I don't thing is fare for the older people that don't check their tikets and just pay whatever amout they said. By the way the food does not have good taste or is not clean and is very expensive at the end. I don know why the...

The wait staff was very friendly. They had the best table chips and salsa of most Tex-Mex places I've been to. The chips were not oily and they were more "poofy" giving them a satisfying crisp crunch. The salsa was not hot, but had a great flavor. There are bottles of hot sauce on the table if you need to spice it up. I ordered the Barbacoa Burrito for about $9 and enjoyed the flavor. I should have given it only 3 stars because of a bone chip that was the size of a long fingernail--but thicker, however the flavor made up for the flaws and I gave it 4 stars anyway. They have a large buffet option for $13.75, and I hope to try it someday when I am hungrier!

Looks like an old gas station from the outside… don’t let the cover of this book deceive you… Once inside the place was spotless clean. I got the number one Amazing skirt steak cooked to perfection Obviously marinated. I enjoy the cactus as back home they don’t serve it much. Guacamole had great flavor and home made tortillas were spot on. The big bowl of beans they gave me were some of the best I’ve had ever. Honestly this is the best Mexican food joint I’ve rated at in south texas And I’ve visited a bunch. Definitely will be back anytime I’m in town for work or passing through
