Dairy Queen — Restaurant in George West

Hello, on Thursday 5/16/2024, at about 9 pm, my family and I stopped at this Dairy Queen for a meal as we traveled to San Marcos for a graduation ceremony the next day. At arrival I observed there were about 4 people sitting at a table chatting and eating. I also saw behind the counter there were 3 employees at the cooking area seemingly chit chatting. I stood at the counter ordering line there waiting for at least 10 minutes but the employees didn't even look my direction. I waited several more minutes and didn't get any attention whatsoever. I also noticed there were no cars at the drive thru lane to place any orders. After even a few more minutes of being ignored my family of 4 and I decided to leave to another venue. Sadly, not even a "ill be with you in a minute" or something from those people was received. I hope the business owners realize what kind of employees they have working here providing counterproductive results. Its so sad because George West is a business town that we travel through all the time. No more stopping at this...

Stopped for a bite to eat after being on the road for over 7 hours to visit family. Saw this establishment and was craving a burger and my oreo blizzard. Walked in and saw the restaurant with a bit of guests but nobody waiting in line. Walked up to the counter and kept seeing a young lady picking up orders and taking them to their tables. Not once did she acknowledge me or the ladies behind me as the line started to grow with no one taking any orders. Another lady on the other side in the kitchen area would see me every now and then but never called anybody to come over to assist. Stayed waiting for about 10 min but was just completely ignored. Atleast an acknowledgement would've been appreciated but felt like this business didn't even care about any walk-in customers. I'd rather go to the gas station across the street and pay for an overpriced treat instead of ever stopping here on any future trips. Will also let my family/friends know to ignore this place for sure and keep driving as if there was no...

We all know DQ has always been a little expensive on some things but $15.00 for a 8 piece of chicken strips maybe a spoonful of fries 1 piece of toast and barely enough gravy for a 2 y r old. Now I know that I didn't have to eat here but that's what my daughter wanted. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. The people in front of us in the drive thru waited 15 mins that I know if for a ice cream cone (dipped), a blizzard, and possibly a shake. The restaurants wasn't even busy. Just ridiculous...we were asked to move over to lane B to wait for your burgers an additional 15 mins. I will not be going back. This isn't the first time this has...
