We visited this location on Saturday, 1/18/2025. We had burgers and such first. My granddaughters got coupons for free ice cream. So, this began the whole mess! We ordered 2 single dip chocolate with m&ms, a double dip waffle cone of the flavor of the day, single dip of the flavor of the day in a bowl, and a custom mix of add-ins. They brought out 2 single dip VANILLA (one with Oreos and the other with m&ms), the custom mix (done correctly), and the double dip was in a bowl. The server took them all back and dumped them before I could even try to get the bowl off the tray. I went to the counter to get it taken care of. Had to ask for the cone. They remade the single dips with chocolate but AGAIN one with Oreos and one with m&ms. I asked them to remake the Oreo one. They then proceeded to tell me that I didn’t pay for the cup of the flavor of the day. The manager was rude about the whole thing. This was our first time in there. I went back to the table and continued to add up the price and it wasn’t adding up to what I had paid. I went back up and asked for a reprint of the receipt and the manager continued to be rude about the situation. On the receipt it was put in as 2 single dip chocolate (not sure why the vanilla was brought out initially) with one Oreo (which we did not order) and one m&m, single dip in bowl, double dip in waffle cone, and the customer mix. The manager told me that it came out as I had ordered it. I explained AGAIN that I did NOT order anything with Oreo. He continued to place the blame for the mix ups on me (the customer). I had to ask for the bowl of the flavor of the day after showing him that I did indeed pay for it. He never apologized and continued to be rude about it. I told him that it was our first time in there. More than likely will be our last after being...
Read moreUPDATE: The manager did finally reach out after I AGAIN, edited my review, they told me my email got stuck in spam and they didn't see it. OK. We emailed for a bit and he admitted his staff is mostly teens and don't take the job seriously. I gave them the BOTD and they asked for my mailing address. They decided to offer vouchers in return, for me changing my review. I also live in Georgetown and it's been almost weeks since then and I haven't received anything, so now this manager just has my address on file. I do not even want the vouchers, its the principle of saying you'll follow through and dont. Another PRIME example of how this location does not value customers nor doing the right thing. I update this review AGAIN, so people can really think about where they are spending their hard earned money. I will NEVER be spending my money at this Culver's again.
EDIT: They told me to email them and haven’t followed up.
I just stopped by on my lunch break. I gave it some time trying it out since they just opened. I live about 10 minutes away from this location. I was super excited to try the food and so glad there is a Culver’s near me. I ordered fine was told to pull up and over and someone will bring me my food. I waited maybe 5-10 minutes to receive it. I took my ten minute drive back home and opened my bag to literally cold burger and cheese curds. I am truly disappointed in this location and I will GLADLY make the trip to the location in Austin if I really...
Read moreMy sister insisted I give them a second chance after my first (and only until now) visit almost 4 months ago. She suggested I try the fish (I'm a cheeseburger guy) which I did. It was GREAT! and Culvers will certainly be my 'go to' place when I'm looking for something different than a cheeseburger. Frankly, Culvers is probably the best fried cod around and I've tried them all. It was warm, fresh tasting, not greasy, great tartar sauce and fresh bread. I will be back for that. Now, let me be fair and explain why I stayed away after my first visit: Culver's is on my way to and from work, shopping, other restaurants. friends and family. So, I was excited to see it come to town, a perfect spot for me and my family. But the cheeseburger and fries were served cold and dry, the fish dinner my wife had was like trying to eat through a cardboard box and the custard dessert had a HAIR topping. I mentioned (and showed) it to the guy who looked like he was in charge (not a good choice) and he basically blew it off, not a good thing to do. I then 'blew it off' my list of restaurants. I did send a comment to Culver's telling them why I wouldn't be back (did not get an acknowledgement). My sister's neighbors have complemented the fish, so she tried it and convinced me that I should try it too. So, I'll be back for the cod dinner, at least once, and it will be up to you as to how often I return...
