A cute tiny artistic town adventure. We spent some time picking a place to eat. Out of all options choose eve's. Honesty hands down the best food between little river to georgetown from everything we tried!! We also like little local restaurants and not major chains! Highly recommend eve was wonderful,soulful, and everything was cooked perfectly. Honestly I got the jerk chicken which was amazing but as a couple we always decide to get different items and side. My husband got the Escovitch Fish and honestly as much as I want to try the oxtail next time or goat, It will probably be the Escovitch Fish hands down the best fish I have ever had in my life!! Eve cooks it's fresh. She told us grab a table, relax and I will be out in 10 minutes. We were the only customer there right when she opened. Perfect lemonade also! I should say the sides were great so was the rice . So much food I was stuffed! Eve's is what I call local food and service you DO write home about. I'll say, back home, there's no establishments like her restaurant. Loved the place so much we couldn't stop talking and thinking about it after the first visit. We came back a 2nd time the same week before I had to fly back home. Tried about half the menu from the jerk chicken, curry goat, curry oxtail, and ribs. Don't forget about the sides! Collard greens, candied yams, plaintains, potato salad, chicken rice, corn bread. Ginger tea, lemonade. Pound cake. Peach cobbler. D E L I C I O U S. The portions were all just right for the price and the food is really packing with flavor. Favorites are definitely the jerk chicken, chicken rice, and plaintains, corn bread was the perfect type of sweet! To really top it off, we really adored Eve and her staff. Absolutely friendly and kind folks!!! If I could, I'd order her food to get shipped to me in my state.
