I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at a Hardee's location due to their appalling customer service. Not only did they fail to have any food cooked, which is something that can happen and is understandable, but the way they treated me was completely uncalled for and left me feeling belittled and fearful.
First, let's talk about the conversation I had with the night manager. Rather than offering any sort of assistance or showing empathy, she rudely insisted that I back up to stop a timer that apparently holds no significance according to her. The lack of respect and condescending tone she used was completely unnecessary and made me question why I even bothered to approach her for help.
As if that wasn't unpleasant enough, the management's decision to send a person from the back to address my concerns only escalated the situation. I was simply taking a picture of a scan tool to document my experience for this review, but it seems they assumed I was photographing them. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere, causing me to fear for my safety. No customer should ever feel threatened or intimidated while expressing their dissatisfaction.
In summary, the customer service I received at Hardee's was abysmal. The complete lack of professionalism, the disrespectful behavior, and the unnecessary escalation of the situation left a lasting negative impression on me. Read moreI would give this location ZERO stars if it was allowed. I placed an order on 12/26/24 via the mobile app. I arrived for pick up around 8:30 pm and it was CLOSED. No one at the drive thru and the doors were locked. I contacted the restaurant this morning and spoke with an employee who stated the manager had a death in the family the same evening. Kathy (so called GM) stated she needed to know what I ordered so I said I would come into the restaurant. I arrived approximately 20 minutes later. The young man at the register told Kathy of my arrival. She stated "I'm busy with customers right now. I don't have time." I said, "as if I'm not a customer that placed an order and received no food" She continued to rant with attitude and unprofessionalim that I've never experienced in my life. She even says "it's lunch time " The total of my order was $94...yes, you read that correctly. I spent $94 for food that I never received because they were CLOSED. I sincerely hope that Kathy has the day she deserves because it's customers like me who keep her paycheck going. Also, I was told to dispute the charge with my bank. Hardee's in Georgetown, SC will NEVER have to worry about my business. I will be filing a formal complaint as I was not provided the chain of command information that I requested. Read moreI had the worst experience here. Never before have I been treated so bad. My wife and I we visiting the area and stopped in for a bite at around 8:45 on yesterday. We placed our order, a simple order with nothing special. Just a #4 meal and a number 3 mushroom combo. John the shift leader took my order. We waited and waited. They took many other inside orders as well as drive through. Eighteen minutes passed (18) and I said where is our food. The cook in the back said we have no mushrooms. I said give my my money back. John said, okay. But he instead, helped someone else with there order first. It was a few minutes later and I finally got my refund. Then I had to demand I get a receipt for my credit card charge. No to top it all off, I am a white male and every in there including all the customers were black. I feel they didn't treat me right because of my race. I will be calling corporate when we get home and request the franchise owner to contact me. We had to go to McDonalds which was a much better place. Beware...
