This place has really gone downhill as far as service goes. My wife has stopped there twice in just the past month around 5:30 am to order a dozen donuts to go and has gotten zero service. Mind you, they open at 5 am everyday. First time she waited at the pickup window for 15 minutes and no one ever came, so she parked and went inside and waited another 15 minutes and still no one even came out to the front to help, so she left empty handed and a waist of her time. Then this morning she gets there at 5:45 am and they say they are running behind and they only have 3-4 options of donuts ready, which were none that we wanted, and if she wanted anything with chocolate icing it would be at least another 1 1/2 hour wait! Which means they say they open at 5 am, but if you want a donut with chocolate icing, they won’t have those available until after 7 am? And, they also told her they are closing early everyday this weekend at 2 pm. Read the other reviews about their service recently, the staff that they have hired is clearly not reliable and will probably end up running them out of business. Not to mention, it’s about $30 for a dozen donuts when they do actually have what you want. Way overpriced. It’s sad too, because we really love their donuts and are willing to pay the extra price to get them, but we can’t continue to support a local business that continuously shows this little amount of respect to their...

On Friday 8/8 around 2pm my husband and I decided to give the Georgetown Bakery a try since we have never ate there before. They were not busy, about 5 customer tables. Our original waitress was very friendly and efficient. She assured us that another waitress would be taking over and help us with any needs because her shift was over. Sorry to say that didn't happen!! She never came to our table at all. We needed a take out container which we picked up ourself to box up our food. As we were leaving we chose some items from the bakery. Everything looked so wonderful we couldn't resist. On our way to the car I was reviewing the bill and realized the waitress, the one that didn't check on us, hadn't charged us for the bakery goods. We went back in to pay her what we owed. The waitress acted very disgusted when we told her our ticket was incorrect and we owed her for the bakery items. She took our receipt, and threw it in the trash. She said we owed her $10. She never one time said she was sorry for the mistake or thanked us for coming back in to pay what we owed. I don't know her name but she definitely needs trained on how to treat customers. The food was excellent but the service by the second waitress...

Looked on Google for The Georgetown Bakery. Said it opened at 5:00 am. Got to the drive through at 5:00 am, the guy said he couldn’t get the window to open, so I went inside. I was going to order a breakfast burrito but he said he doesn’t do the cooking. He said the dude who cooks doesn’t get there until around 6:00 am. So I decided to leave. He begged me to take a donut. After telling him several times that I didn’t want one, he said just take it for later. He bagged up one donut and kept apologizing. Get to the car and looked at the website, it states breakfast starts at 7:00 am. Looked at their menu and it said it starts at 6:00 am. I felt really bad for the young man who was there just to make all of the donuts overnight. He was super nice and tried his best. SO…what time is breakfast?? Seriously, I couldn’t tell you. It’s a great place to eat, but they need to get their times straight. Having said all that, I will say the staff is amazing and the manager,...

Had a late breakfast with my father and uncle, my Dad’s country fried steak came out burnt. The waitress didn’t seem to care and tried to just walk away, she made it obvious that she was perturbed with us. Personally I feel like they should have been ashamed of the food & especially the service. I have purchased their donuts several times before& they have always been good, but after today I can honestly say that I will never come back. I work hard for my money, I expect at least an effort on the part of those I choose to spend it with.

The Georgetown Bakery has a large selection of donuts, cupcakes, and assorted other pastries. The earlier you get there, the better selection they have as many of the items sell out for the day before noon. They also have an amazing breakfast menu. I had the "Down on The Farm" with my eggs cooked perfectly over medium. If you decide to try that meal, it is enough for 2 people to split. Service can be a little slow during the busiest hours but the staff is very nice and friendly. You can call in orders and pick them up to go.

This place use to just sell donuts and to be honest 15$ for a half dozen half filled cream long John’s is disappointing. They don’t fill them all the way and their prices adjust every time I’ve gone. I keep expecting them to change but they have not. Not sure if I will continue to go there. It seems this is turning into a diner/hang out. The picture I posted shows that they’re a quarter filled with cream. For the price they can at least fill it….
