WORST APPLEBEE’S AND RESTAURANT EVER! Visited this location on April 26 2025. After traveling back to Atlanta late evening and checking into our hotel for an early morning flight, my wife and I decided to grab a quick meal from here. Bad choice. When we arrived, there was only one couple waiting to be seated. The host said give him 3 minutes. About a minute later he said give him 5 minutes to seat us. Still reasonable. We never saw him again after that. At the 8 minute mark we decided to try the bar. Remember the 1 couple that was there before us….they gave up and left. My wife and I sit at the bar and it’s dirty with cups and empty beer bottles. My wife literally pulls out sanitary wipes from her purse and move the cups and beer bottles and actually sanitizes the bar too in our area. There is no bartender to take our order. After about 5 minutes of us sitting there a guy came out and did not know if anyone had taken our order until I spoke across the bar and said “no our order hasn’t been taken”. He takes our order and about 15 minutes later I asked him to check on our food. He said he just had and it should be out soon. It comes out, we eat and I ask for the check but was told to give him a few minutes why he finished teaching a team member how to make a drink that appeared to be only for practice. What happened to taking care of the customer? I normally leave a tip, even if I’m not completely satisfied with everything because I know we are all trying to make it and I know it’s tough dealing with people in the restaurant business. But in this case, I left no tip because not a soul in the building deserved any of my hard earned money. There is no leadership. The worst Applebees I’ve ever been to. The waitress had no sense of hospitality or even what is on the menu. She kept getting the order wrong and forgetting what was ordered. When talking to her it was if she didn’t even know what they had. The side of broccoli came out in a plastic bag…… that alone should be enough said. I wish I would have taken pictures but the boneless wings looked as if they were physically just slapped on the plate. It looked like something a 10 year old could have made if they were cooking. The boneless wings were hard and distasteful. Ordered the onion rings and was only served 4 or 5, I’m not paying for a plate of onion rings to just get a few. My last straw was when I finally received my main entree, my friend didn’t get theirs. The waitress had entirely forgot to put their order in. So I had my food and the waitress was like ok is that everything? And we were both like no. She was like what else did you have? Then my friend reminded her of the entree they had ordered. She had to rewrite it down and then said “ok well they are cooking yours now” to my friend. I began inspecting my entree because my friend didn’t my food to get cold. Now, I always get the 4 cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper tenders. That’s my favorite thing from Applebee’s. When I began to eat, the Mac and cheese had a consistency of water, I am a Mac and cheese connoisseur and again I get that particular dish all the time from Applebee’s, it should not have had that consistency. The waitress had also forgotten that I asked for extra honey pepper sauce, and forgot the breadstick that comes with my meal! Overall terrible experience. I recently had an unfortunate experience at this Applebee's on August 21st 2023, and I must say, it was far from enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I was met with an underwhelming atmosphere and lackluster service that left a sour taste in my mouth.

To start, the ambiance of the restaurant was unremarkable. It lacked the inviting and cozy atmosphere I had hoped for. It seemed as though Applebee's had not put much effort into creating a pleasant dining environment.

Moving on to the service, it was nothing short of disappointing. The hostess seemed disinterested and failed to greet us with a warm welcome. We were left waiting for what felt like an eternity before we decided to dine at another establishment. Also during our wait I overheard one of the waitresses who previously made eye contact with us and the other people occupying the waiting area say “Uh uh why all these people here?” This waitress also had a toddler following her around as she cleaned tables. It was evident that the staff lacked proper training and professionalism.

Furthermore, the cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. The tables were sticky, and the floors appeared dirty, indicating a lack of attention to detail and proper maintenance. It was quite off-putting and made me question the overall hygiene standards of the establishment.

In conclusion, my visit to Applebee's was a disappointing and lackluster affair. From the uninviting ambiance, the subpar service, and overall lack of attention to detail, it was clear that Applebee's has fallen behind in terms of quality and customer satisfaction.
