My wife and I were in town for a special anniversary weekend and decided to try BIB. We were definitely not disappointed; it was the best part of our weekend. The beer list has something for most everyone, but they didn't have any dark beer available. We wanted several apps, but narrowed it down to just a few. We got the bacon-wrapped dates, the beer cheese dip, and the cheese curds. The dates have blue cheese in them, but you can't taste it at all. They were delicious, and we're so glad we didn't let the cheese steer us away from them. The cheese curds have a different batter than most, and they come with Texas Pete and ranch on the side. I like the cheese curds, but they weren't the best I've ever had. The beer cheese dip was fantastic. There was a slight crust on top with crispy French-fried onions. There were large, warm, soft pretzel sticks along with the cheese. We both agree that we would drive back to SSI just for that beer cheese. For her entrée, my wife got the beet salad without protein. Everything in the salad was fresh, ripe, and delicious. I had the wild shrimp plate, and I had it fried. The shrimp was beer-battered and fried perfectly. As a heads up, they come with a lemon caper tartar sauce instead of...

Where to start?! WOW! This place is incredible. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are like no other on the island. We’ve been coming to the island since 1990, and by far this is one of the best dining experiences to date. Cameron, our server both times we went this trip, was beyond fabulous, attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. The drinks were delicious. We are not big beer drinkers (which I’m sure they’re delicious) but they have something for everyone. Our first visit we each got the beet salad. My mom got it with steak and I topped mine off with crab cake. Both were delectable. In addition, we tried the beer cheese dip and it was to die for. The second time we got the bacon wrapped figs, brussel sprouts, the pretzel and meat board, as well as the beet hummus....all i can say is HOLY COW!!!! We were in food heaven. We had the opportunity to meet the chef and GM. Both were awesome and sociable....super cool and chill. They knew their craft. I can say this, when we come back the next time with our entire family, BIB will be our first stop....and middle and last!!!!! LOL. It...

We chose this place based on the reviews and were not disappointed. Went there after around 3pm on Saturday so the lunch crowd was mostly gone. The restaurant observed social distancing and asked people to wear masks until they got to their table. All servers wore masks appropiately, all the time, and gloves, tables were set away from each other and the place was very clean. It made us feel comfortable eating indoors.

The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful answering questions, and making recommendations.

The food was amazing! Freshly cooked, full of flavor, nicely plated. We had Sweet and Sour Brussel sprouts as an appetizer- ours came a little burnt for our taste, but they were still delicious. We had the Steak Sandwich- steak was cooked and cut the way it's supposed to be and the flavor was great. We also had the Beet salad and the Super salad , both were great- fresh and flavorful.

Overall, it's a great place and we would eat there again...

While visiting St. Simons Island, my date and I went to Barrier Island Brewing, as it was in walking distance to our hotel. I have been to many breweries, and this place is awesome. The hostesses and all the staff are very friendly. Our server Matthew provided exceptional service and recommendations on what to order. I had a flight, and I liked all of the beer. We had the beer cheese dip with soft pretzel sticks as an appetizer, and they were fantastic. For my main course, I had the pork chop sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. The next night, we went back for dessert. We had the Beignets, with three dipping sauces. Wow. This place also serves cocktails, and I had the Smokey Mirrors. If I lived near Barrier Island Brewing, I would be here every week. This place does everything right, and I highly recommend visiting when you are in St. Simons Island.

I saw the reviews and I saw the look, the vibe, through pictures. I thought to myself, "Wow this place looks fun!". My assumptions were right. I got two beers, along with fries and wings. A simple meal for a simple man. The flavor of the wings was, garlic honey Sriracha. They did not disappoint! The fries were simple with a little garnish mixed in. The beer though, let's talk about that. I got the bombshell blonde and the golden ray ipa. Both were smitten and delicious. I'm not the biggest fan of IPA's but this was pleasantly nice to drink. The outdoor seating was very nice, and they even put a soccer game on for me. They were very clean and quick to clean up after any guest to they could keep people moving.

I came in after a day at the Neptune Park Pool and sat at the bar for the first time. I was waited on by Trey and Cara and they were awesome! They were both so friendly and went the extra mile! I didn’t ever wait on my drink to be refilled or want for anything! Trey also recommended the happy hour skillet and I’m so glad he did because it was just me eating. He helped me pick a drink too the blueberry martini and it was amazing! Then cara offered to get me caramel sauce to dip the beignets in and it was so good! All in all just an amazing experience and I will be back and sitting at the bar hoping to get one or both of them again as a server/bartender!
