Chicken and Biscuit House — Restaurant in Georgia

This site is a definite joke. The store was closed for years, and it was exciting to see it reopen.nthe first class couple months, I attempted to stop by but they didn't have a drive-thur which was very unusual. But that didn't need stop business. To my experience from hell itself. I stopped by on Thursday around 4:51pm after leaving a doctor appointment. First walked in employees outside smoking and had to wait for cashier to come from outside to take my order! As she approached the register all chipper and excited. I kindly said, I know you going to wash your hands😣 she rolls her excessive eye shadowed eyes and say I am not fixing your food. I responded, but you gone be handling my money making and my change duh! Then a suppose to be manager approach to the front line. Immediately ask is there a problem. I look at her no, there is not a problem. I asked your cashier to was her hands after coming from outside smoking 😣😣😣😣 she in turn say to the cashier ..child please wash your hands. I am amazed yet stunned at this foolery. She comes back all puffed up and say what you wanna order? I say just a moment please. Then she folds her arms and stare me down. No response given, bigger than that. In order a two piece meal and a chicken sandwich. As I wait for my food, a drunk walks to the counter and start yelling to the back of the serving line Where my folks at? The cook bends down to acknowledge this idiot and say Who? He say I ain't talking to you! She screams back ..you tripping . Another employee say you drunk. You need some water 😣 I am confused as to this circus act right before my eyes. As I stood I searched for the rating if this location. It read 83....no wonder. I will not be back. Not one employee benefits looked clean or qualified to be in public. Sad...

If you look up Mrs. Winner’s on Google (for the Glenwood location), it will come up as: Mrs. Winner’s. HOWEVER, once you get there…It’s no longer Mrs. Winner’s. The establishment is now called: Chicken & Biscuits House. They basically still have the same menu items as Mrs. Winner’s. BUT…The same quality of food?? NOT!!!

First off, the service is slow. I went through the drive-thru and there were 2 cars in front of me. It took 15 minutes (or more), just to get to the window to pay. I ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a large coffee. The coffee smelled and tasted like sewage water. I’ve been a coffee drinker for decades and I had never smelled nor tasted coffee this bad off. I couldn’t drink it…my stomach was rebelling.

Secondly, the cinnamon rolls were burnt and the cinnamon rolls, were extremely small. So small that, they only filled up half of the small container that they came in. Also, the icing on the cinnamon rolls, was too much. THAT’S TOO MUCH SUGAR. I want to taste the cinnamon and the bread. Not, just icing! THEN, the quality of the bag that held these items, felt thick and sturdy. But, the bottom of the bag bursted!

This establishment doesn’t have to worry about me visiting again. I’m not wasting my hard earn money, on the poor quality of the food at this establishment. I will say that, the customer...

For the longest my rating of this location was a 4 because, although not perfect, I always received good service, that was until yesterday. On yesterday my order consisted of primarily sides because we were feeding family members during a fish fry. Two family orders of potato wedges, two family orders of fried okra, two orders of coleslaw and a cinnamon swirl for the ride home. Hoping to have the order ready when we arrived I placed my order online. Unfortunately this did not shorten the wait time. After about a 15 wait I received the order and hurried home. What I found in our bag lead me to call. Each of the potato wedge boxes were only halfway filled, the okra was not in the correct box and was served in a small styrofoam container, the coleslaw was warm and had a sour taste, and the super cinnamon swirl although tasty was less than half the size of the container it was in. I called the restaurant and ask to speak to a manager only to be placed on hold for 7 minutes. I hung up and called back only to be told that no manager was in and I would need to call back the next day. I have now attempted to call three times today and received no answer each time. Very disappointed with my service this visit and I hope to receive, in the least, a partial refund for this partly inedible and definitely...
