It took about 10 minutes for us to be acknowledged. There was no line and there were at least 6-8 employees so there's no excuse. They we're avoiding eye contact and acted as if we didn't exist. One employee was cleaning the line in front of us while we waited. The rice and beans had been sitting out on a counter and were no longer warm. The meat was cold - like right out of the fridge cold. The warmest thing was the rice because it was recently mixed. I asked for white rice. Three large scoops of rice were put in one bow - way more than the normal amount. I asked for less in the second. He initially put one small scoop in the second bowl and asked if that was enough. I asked him to add more but like a normal amount (Chipotle has standardized scoop amounts employees are taught). He also slapped a massive amount of sour cream on a bowl. When I asked for light sour cream on the second bowl, he gave a more normal amount (that's still not light though). I asked for a half a scoop of the medium (green) salsa and was given a heaping scoop. I didn't want all that spice right now. It took forever to go through the line. We wanted to walk out but didn't want to leave them with food waste. It took over 20 minutes to check out with 2 simple bowls. I work in food service. I've worked for Chipotle. I know the standards Chipotle sets for their employees. I am empathetic to fellow food service employees. This in mind, this was not acceptable. It was not to-standard. It was well below. Read moreEvery order, every single time, is either completely wrong, or missing items. The last 6 orders have been wrong, mislabeled (if multiple orders in one, and take a bite of what wasn’t theirs which then has to be thrown out... we can’t see through a burrito), missing items is common, or they decide to give you what they want to give you instead of what you order.
Be super careful ordering through their website. They mess up orders left and right, and when they send you the wrong order, you only get a 15% refund. When you don’t receive an item, you get a 15% refund. When they give you a bowl instead of a burrito, it’s your problem, no help on those, this has probably occurred 10 times. Oh, the one time I did get through about 6 months ago to talk to someone, no refund was offered, and they said I’d have to come get it, which defeats the entire purpose of delivery. Again, I didn’t receive what I ordered, and I have to pay the full cost.
I’ve tried calling and calling, I can never get anyone on the phone. I was going to let this go, but literally the last 6 orders in a row had an issue. I’m just over it now.
Before these 6, I’d say every 2-3 orders placed were wrong. This is being conservative. We’ve been trying to help this company out during this rough time, but every single time, they let me down, and they could care less.
It’s a shame because when the food is right, it is good.
Let’s support a company that actually cares for their customers. We are all hurting during this time, working together should be the best option, I guess not everyone is seeing...
Read moreThis chipotle is BAD. I was craving some chips and queso for lunch today, so naturally I went to my nearest chipotle, and would you know it, it happened to be this crummy one. All I asked for was a small chips and queso which was scooped for me in no time at all. That wasn’t my issue. I had no problems until my order got to the end of the line. I asked if I should just grab one of the bags of chips that was on the counter next to the register. (By the way, the chips were at least a day old, they were SO stale) The reply I received was quite rude and provocative and in nature. “You need to pay for those separate!” To which I replied calmly something like, “I ordered a chips and queso I thought that it comes with the chips?” (I know silly me assuming that chips and queso would include the chips) Well, eventually I was told I had to pay for MORE chips and that I needed to quote “Get the Hell outa my face” all because I was trying to ask why I was being charged for chips twice. Needless to say I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant. That is unless you don’t care about how you are treated by the employees.
