Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Georgia

Service was fine. Went inside and ordered. Filled cup up with ice. Looked in it before I filled it up with tea, saw something dark in the ice, poured it out, filled it up again with ice, looked in cup before filling it up with iced tea, and there were a couple of little bugs that were FROZEN IN THE ICE!!! I don't know what kind it was but it looked 2 b striped, black and yellow, don't know if it was some kind of roach, or baby bee.....showed it to the front counter lady who quickly looked in cup, made a face like ewww, she threw it in the trash, gave us another cup, apologized. I decided to just get the tea without the ice and put my own ice in it when I got home, but once home was so grossed out by it, I never drank the tea. I inspected my chicken, biscuit, and mashed potatoes really well before eating and did not see any of those little bugs so maybe they were only in the ice machine. Bottom line, CHECK YOUR ICE CUBES BEFORE YOU ADD YOUR DRINK!!!! I hope this Church's looks into this gross and unsanitary condition. I will try to put in a complaint with...

I’ve had enough of the Church's Texas Chicken in Norcross. This isn’t a one-time issue—it's a pattern of poor service, bad food, and unacceptable cleanliness.

I ordered a 12-piece family meal, clearly requesting a mix of pieces—legs, thighs, wings, and breasts. When I got home and opened the box, I found only THREE legs, and the rest were just thighs. No wings, no breasts—just dry, greasy thighs. I paid for variety, but all I got was disappointment.

And the condition of this location is appalling. The tiles inside are filthy, the bathrooms are disgusting, and the exterior of the building looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. It’s clear they don’t care about cleanliness or customer experience.

This isn’t just a one-time thing—it's a consistent problem. Between the wrong orders, bad food, and dirty surroundings, I’m officially done with this location. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are much better options around that actually care about their customers and...

Girl at window was nice/cute.. Chicken tastes weird greasy as always.. and never again with the biscuits. I got only a 2 piece deal on Tues this week for $1.89 and you used to get a bisuit and pepper for about that price. I was debating with the new mgr. about getting the biscuit and pepper with that deal and he says that they never did that here. I said I've been coming here for like 4 yrs. since moving here on and off. So he charges me $3.70 just for the biscuit and pepper add on. Crazy..and to top off the aggravation when I got home the biscuit was hard as a rock..yukk!! Yes as I've read they're the classic for leaving food in the window from morning til night. And forget Popeyes they're just as bad and overpriced. You'll have to wait to go outta state to get chicken even it seems. Atlanta area sux for food.
