My wife and I decided to try this five guys location out on labor day weekend and we were majorly disappointed. We're very used to the location in Kennesaw (Cobb parkway 41) that really has their act together and consistently turns out fantastic food. Unfortunately this Chastain location isn't up to this chains quality namesake.

The first problem is it took about 20 minutes to receive our order and we only had one other person ahead of us at the time. These people were moving at the speed of plate tectonics. No sense of urgency and when we finally received the food somehow they managed to serve it cold. Yes, cold burgers... The hot dog we ordered wasn't probably wrapped in bacon. They split the dog in half, overcooked it, and just laid a piece of bacon on top of it. apparently they had felt that they hadn't ruined the hot dog enough so they made sure to break the bun in half at its hinge. The bun on the hot dog also seemed... Old and crumbly.

Also, we felt that we were shorted on the french fries. For $35 it was quite a disappointment. If I were walking into a McDonald's and I receive something like this for under 10 bucks then I could just wave my hand at it. But at five guys? I've come to expect better.

The general manager refused to service me because I wanted a little bacon cheeseburger on a grill cheese and he told me they don’t sell that but I’ve been a repeated customer to the location for years ordering the same thing but technically they have to ring it up as a grill cheese add a patty and bacon sounds like the same thing to me he had an nasty attitude from the beginning I think he has his panties in a bunch about something today but it wasn’t my fault unless me being a black man had something to do with it it definitely felt like racial profiling to me I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and disrespected in my life this was a terrible experience and I have a recording I’m going to be taking this further up from the looks of it he wants all the burger’s to himself this was so unnecessary and shouldn’t have went this far just ring up my order I don’t know the register system I never worked fast food I hope whatever he’s going through keeps bothering him he does represent the five guy brand the way I know it to be I love that place but having staff that make people of color feel uncomfortable the word will...

Hey, if you're going to kill yourself anyway, why not do it with the best unhealthy food possible? I'm sure you've been but if you are reading this then maybe you just need some confirmation of what you already know. Five Guys is the best fast food Burger chain in Atlanta and possibly anywhere. Of course you definitely get what you pay for and these burgers are a bit pricier than McDonald's and Burger King. Everything is made to order in front of your face with all the best toppings and condiments. If you don't come in asking for a fried egg or avocado you will be very pleased. Now let's talk about the french fries. For some reason they give you an insane amount, so much that the bottom of your bag will be covered in hot salty fried potatoes. This is a highlight of eating there. If you have the time . Dine in so you can feast on the countless combinations of drinks in the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Anyway, what more can I say? You will dig a little bit deeper into your pockets but you will walk away with a smile on your face and...
