Guthrie’s of Canton — Restaurant in Georgia

First and last time coming to Guthrie’s unfortunately. We dined in and the girl that took our order was sweet, but we told her we didn’t want coleslaw and substitute it with either fries or toast. We thought she was ringing it up that way while we were standing there, but when we got our food we both had coleslaw on our plates. Then we paid $33/35 for tenders that were literally 2 inches long, thin, and about 1.5 inches wide. We had and 1-2 “big” tenders and they were the only thing that tasted pretty good the sizes were very inconsistent. While sitting there the employees were talking loud and cursing about their work/personal life. We could hear just about everything for example we heard about a pregnancy test someone took. For them to only have 2 tables that were occupied (that’s including us) the place was relatively dirty, a lot of the tables had stains and smears on them and our table was the cleanest one we seen besides the crumbs on the seat. They had a cleaning product sitting out in the counter in the open for anyone to grab. Then the party of people that were in there with us literally reached around the counter to refill one of their drinks. The girl who took our order and theirs comes out and see them and laughs it off I guess she told them she was supposed to be doing that and the customer goes “oh my bad I didn’t want to bother yall” and the employee goes “oh no you’re good”. Safe to say they don’t watch what’s going on here and if they turn a blind eye to that then what else are they turning a blind eye too. Needless to say we won’t be coming here again or recommending...

I’ve always had a good experience here. Food has always been great but now it seems to be somewhat in shambles. Not one single adult working. Bunch of kids “working” in the back not paying attention to the front. We waited 20 minutes for food and my wife’s was hot while mine was cold and soggy. All the kids in the back were dropping F bombs over and over and shouting at each other in the back not seeming to care that people were in the dining room, including my three year old. It was just very disappointing and extremely unprofessional. While we were eating, one of the workers came out of the restroom, leaned on the trashcan while texting before coming back out to the front counter. Bummed to see this place going downhill. Ordered a chicken tender box because I had never had this place before and have always wanted to try it. I side of the window for almost 10 minutes and was not offered a drink or anything. Once my food arrived I opened it up to find that what had happened clearly with that they had a few tenders left but not enough to make my meal so two of my tenders were ice cold and oily and the rest of them were incredibly hot and oily. All I could taste on all of them was vegetable oil. There was no seasoning whatsoever. Very disappointing check in. I think I’ll stick to Zaxby’s from now on. At least the fries which had clearly been dropped back in the fryer after being cooked or crispy.
