Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

I don't know about you but not every WF was created equal! This one in particular is OUTSTANDING! If you like your eggs that certain "Waffle House way" (and if you know, you know) this is the place! Service was excellent and the food arrived as ordered (which again, isn't always the case). The overall restaurant is small (timing is everything on a Saturday morning) but VERY VERY clean. The parking lot is huge with plenty of options. We've all been to 999 Waffle Houses but I seriously cannot wait to go back here ... those eggs!! Thanks to the 10-1030am cook last Saturday - you're the GOAT!

Update: we had such an odd and disappointing experience last weekend (late March 2025). We arrived during a Saturday morning. They're several families of 4. We noticed 2 available spots at the lower bar and went to sit. We were told they were not available (although the 2 seats were empty) bc they didn't have enough servers. Unfortunately we ended up leaving but all the regular servers were there and an extra one too. It was so strange. Never been turned down by WH. Maybe in the future remove the empty seats if you don't want people to...

Walked into the building and there was what looked to be a hillbilly hootenanny going on on one half of the place, about four booths were chained off and the only place to sit my family (which there were 5 of us including my kids) was at a table that had a bunch of dishes and whatnot from the last patrons. So we sat down at the chairs where you wait for a table to open up. We were never greeted, we sat for a good 5 minutes before one of the staff decided to clean the table off. So we sat down. The staff was singing with the party that was happening in the half of the restaurant while we sat and continued to wait. Still nobody greets us….we have been walked by multiple times by the cook as he got OTHER people’s drinks and food items. We sat for a good while now while it just gets louder and rowdier in there so at this point I’m annoyed beyond belief so we all get up and leave. I understand having fun at work and engaging patrons but YOU DIDN’T ENGAGE WITH US! I’ve been to many Waffle House locations in the past and this one is by far the worst. And I never even got to eat anything let alone get a menu or silverware. Unprofessional...

i went here yesterday around 2pm and at abt 7pm, i began puking , it is currently 5 hours later and i have not stopped throwing up. I definitely got food poisoning from this place . i’m never the type to write reviews but the health department definitely needs to come out there and handle something . I can’t imagine how many other guest from yesterday could be experiencing this right now as well .I’m not sure what food caused it but i feel as if it was probably from the bacon since they do pre pep for the bacon in the middle of night and cook it abt half way so when a costumers wants it later on they can cook it a lot faster on the grill . which i would SOOO much rather want it to take longer then for it to get me sick . There is so much possibility of Cross Contamination due to the fact that so many different items are being made on the same grill or even how the food could be getting shipped . i definitely hopes this gets acknowledged by somebody who can fix the issue and/or people who can avoid it . i do not wish this pain and nausea...
