Friday night, the place was packed which I assumed to be a very good sign! We had called ahead for a reservation luckily! Our server was very friendly and did a good job! We ordered some cocktails. The weekend on sixes was quite good but the Manhattan my husband ordered came in a glass that was just barely have full. We asked the server and were told the bartenders are measuring more accurately now. So the martini glass wasn’t filled. Hmmm. Asked if the fish and chips were battered in house, we were told yes. But when the fish came it didn’t seem that way. Lacking flavor and a nice crusty batter. I ordered a side of fried Brussels. The description in the appetizer says fried. Brussels comes with bacon, goat, cheese, and balsamic vinegar. So I assumed the side order that I ask for would as well. But it did not. I’m not sure why. When I questioned the server about this, she said, sometimes they do come this way, but usually they don’t. I think this needs to be updated on the menu to specify that. But she did take them back to the kitchen and ask them to add the toppings. I thought this was very nice. The Ahi tuna was a pleasant surprise. Very tasty and a nice presentation. Overall, we had a nice evening. Will probably try one more time and see if their game...

Despite the price tag and the occasional parking joust, it's a place that calls you back with its alluring atmosphere and the promise of a...
Read moreTonight we did both dine in and take out. My husband and I had dinner in the restaurant and I took a take out order to my kids. I ordered the rib eye steak. For the price, I expected a decent cut of meat prepared the way I asked. It was a big disappointment. The steak was a very thin cut, and extremely tough. Not even easy to cut with a steak knife. It also came very rare but was ordered medium rare. I barely ate it. The dogs will enjoy the rest of it. The side salad was very good, as was my husband’s Reuben sandwich and the Diablo Shrimp. Our service was fine as well. The take out order was mostly good but the queso cheese was left out of our pretzel order, which was very disappointing to the kiddos. That’s what they were most looking forward to. The last time I ordered take out the Diablo shrimp came dry, without the sauce. What’s Diablo shrimp without the sauce? Just shrimp! These are not huge problems and I have had enough positive experiences there to keep going but I do think more attention to order details would be nice. And no more steak for me at...
