When I walked into the store I was not greeted. It wasn't until a minute or so had passed before I was acknowledged. I gave the employee my order but it took some time before I was asked about what I wanted on my sandwich. One employee was,I guess training another employee. I am guessing that my sandwich was being prepared at that time. Also as I was standing there two of the employees were discussing how they felt about customers coming into the store acting as they did not want to be in the store. I felt as if they were directing it towards me because they were not hiding the fact that they were talking about the attitudes of how customers act when they come into the store. They stated that in other areas folks come into the store with different attitudes. Im fairly sure that in those other areas that the employees that were talking about those customers wouldn't been making those comments. I do not mind tipping when the tip is warranted but when you do not greet customers when they walk into your place of business and discuss the things that they were discussing I do not feel that a tip is warranted. I almost walked out the door.
I was raised to respect people and people walk into my place of work/business I greet them and ask how can I be of service. My line of work is mandatory as I am a Sales Manager of a store in the area. I can tell you that I will never step foot into that Jersey Mike store location ever again. I did not and do not have to buy anything from the store neither does anyone else. I believe that is one of the reasons why that store really has no business. I am a firm believer if you do not like your job don't take it out on anyone else. By far it has been one of the worst experience that I have received from a take-out/dine-in spot.

Read moreSo yesterday I came in to pick up an online order and I was told that the sandwich cannot be made and the so called GM which I doubt tried to call the customer which my customer also said it was untrue he received no phone call, i told the so called GM which he claimed to be said I will call my customer so I called him and told him that the sandwich could not be made because they were out of Bacon. The customer said that’s fine can I get another sandwich at the same price I paid for ? I relaid the message and the so called GM said that he will not serve me . I told the so called GM “ your not serving me but the customer who eats at this establishment “ as a Muslim I found this very insulting! Because he the so called GM is always somewhat rude when I come to pick orders but ignore him. My customer stated to become up set after he said he would make the sandwich after I get confirmation, I told the so called GM he can’t do that because he already ordered , but for some r reason he was focused on me and not the customer , “ I’m not serving you” he said again , now leave my store! The customer said no I never had problems getting another sandwich here if a meat isn’t present “ at this moment everyone is shouting even me because he called me a black ducking Muslim so i through a empty plastic bottle at me and he picked up a knife and said I will cut you I’m from New York ! A man came to move me back and told the guys he was wrong I told my customer to cancel as he said he will report to Uber eats right away as I was also going to report which I did. Read moreYou guys have got to do something about the service at this location. It is god awful. I regularly frequent Jersey mikes for lunch but this one I avoid at all cost because of the service. I hadn’t been in over 9 months but decided to give it another shot today since I was shopping at the Kroger nearby. I submitted my order right around the time the store opened and arrived 15 mins later to pickup. When I arrived the lights were off and there were two ladies there. One was sitting down and the other was standing behind the counter. I said hello and advised I was picking up a mobile order. Neither said anything for a few moments. Then the lady behind the counter stated they did not have bread. The lady sitting then stated they did have bread. I was confused. The lady behind the counter then stated they did not have turkey(I ordered a turkey sandwich plus paid extra for bacon). I asked for a different sandwich which was cheaper than what I ordered but there was no adjustment made to the price. Neither woman apologized for the inconvenience or told me to have a nice day even though I thanked them for my order. They both seemed very cold, unprepared and like they just simply did not want to be there. I felt as though I was bothering them by walking in.
