Joy Donuts — Restaurant in Georgia

Let me start by saying mouth 🤤 watering fresh donuts where have you been! 😂 So I have been to several donut shops around Atlanta and out of Ga and noting can compare to this little joint in Dacula. So today I decided to stop by for the first time while I wait for my tire repair across the street. I definitely don’t regret it. I bought a mix dozen of donuts for the family at a good price. While sitting down waiting for my ride the owner I believe comes out and asks me what flavor do I like? I’m asking myself huh? What do you mean? Strawberry or Barvarian cream she says. Oh! I respond strawberry with awkwardness 😂. I’m still wondering why? I’m guessing maybe wants to have conversation 🤷🏻‍♂️. A few seconds later she comes to me with a fresh glazed donut filled with strawberry. I took that first bite and my mind was blown. The owner looked at me with a smile and asked do you like it? I said I love it 🥰. She went on explaining the comparison between other donuts shops and how they make their donuts and describing how they fill it with strawberry or any other type of flavors making donuts lose their flavor over time while they sit and wait to be purchased. Owner turns around and points out a flavor dispenser of several varieties of flavors freshly made. She said for every flavor donut requested she inserts into flavor dispenser and fills away. The taste difference is no where compared to other donut shop and is definitely unquestionably good. I’m so glad I stopped by today. Will definitely come...

I stopped here for a few donuts while visiting from out of town and I was very impressed with the service and the quality of their products. The shop is located in a little strip center with a convenience store/gas station so it's pretty easy to see the signs coming from any direction. There's ample parking and the grounds were pretty clean. The exterior is typical for this type of center, but the interior had a lot of charm and had a very cozy feel to it. There are a couple of tables and chairs inside for customers as well as a TV. Upon entering I was greeted very courteously by the staff and they were super friendly. The staff were both well dressed and well groomed and displayed an enthusiasm for customer service. The display case was well organized and laid out very well making selections fairly easy. The donuts were fresh and there were plenty of options to suit almost anyone's taste. The quality of the ingredients were of very good quality and you can see and taste firsthand how important that is to the staff. They also have drinks both hot and cold. The donuts I purchased were enjoyed by all who had one and even the locals who had never visited this place said they plan on making a trip here. I would give this place a 5 star rating for value as the quality and service far exceeds the price charged and highly recommend trying...

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! My order was completely wrong and when I called the gentleman was extremely rude and said they would not correct there mistake. I will never use them again and strongly recommend no one else does either. They do not respect there customers enough to even be polite when asked for my correct order.

UPDATE

I was contacted by Joy Donuts and we went back and forth to figure out a way to correct my order. I have not received them yet but it really doesn’t matter if I end up receiving them because they have literally gone above and beyond to try and figure out a way to correct there mistake. I do not drive so the delivery is the only part holding this process up and that is not their fault. My opinion of them has completely changed and I would absolutely give them my business in the future.

Y’all they sent a actual employee to hand deliver my donuts...not DoorDash an actual employee...please order from them because they truly care about there customers. I went from not wanting to give them a single star to wanting to...
