ATL sushi hibachi and pho (Thai Chinese Pho Hibachi sushi ) — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

Vegans beware— their vegan pho may not actually be vegan! When I got the check my receipt said chicken broth and when the waitress asked the chef, they said they don’t use real meat but they use chicken flavor— and we can’t confirm whether or not it comes from meat product or not. Restaurants shouldn’t advertise vegan meals if they can’t guarantee it’s completely vegan! Veggie broth would’ve been perfect but it doesn’t look like they serve that.

Edit to respond to owners response: We specifically ordered the vegan pho and specified the customer was vegan. when we got the receipt, the receipt said chicken broth. We asked the server to clarify and she went and spoke with the cook and stated that the cook says it’s chicken flavoring but not real chicken. But we informed her there was no order for chicken broth and we expected a veggie broth with vegan pho. There should be no chicken broth attached to a vegan order. So, to respond to the owner, we did specific VEGAN pho. And someone somewhere added chicken broth to the order unwarranted. Since you made a suggestion to us as customers, I’d double check and make sure your cooks aren’t adding chicken flavoring to vegan pho and servers know not to add chicken broth to vegan...

Pho, sushi, Chinese and Thai option. Fine food and great service in a nice relaxed environment. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. The menu variety was both extensive and excellent! It even included Bento boxes! After studying the options, we both elected to eat off the lunch menu and share. The lunch options included an entree, add a protein, choose a soup (Wonton, Egg Drop, Hot & Sour, Japanese Miso) and appetizer (Fried Eggroll, Vegetable Spring roll, crab puff) or two appetizers. I ordered the Kung Pao and added chicken. My wife ordered the Thai Panang and added Tofu. We both had the Hot and Sour soup and steamed rice. We elected sodas to drink and did not try the excellent array of teas and other drinks. The service was friendly and swift. The food was served quickly and piping hot. The atmosphere was warm, pleasant, low key and relaxing where we were easily able to hold a conversation. Both of us enjoyed the meal together tremendously. All the food was delicious but we both highly recommend the Thai Panang which was excellent. My wife loved it and said it was the best she ever had. We plan to go back soon. I know my wife will re-order the Thai Panang but I plan to explore the other...

The place had a nice flare to it. We figured we would try this place since the one we usually go to in Hamilton Mill was closed on this day. I ordered the Thai spicy Hunan. I think it was way over spiced. I think that a customer should be asked what their heat level should be. I could barely eat it, but it did say spicy Hunan.

Also, we ordered a green curry and it came as a paste. It was it was not light and fluid like we're used to. The consistency was incorrect. I've experienced many Thai places and have never seen a curry so thick, it was daunting just for my husband to eat it.

When we were ready to check out we could not get any extra rice or any free refills, I thought that was ridiculous for the amount of money that we put out for this meal. And I felt that the portions were not big enough for what we spent.
