So, i ordered vegetable hibachi with fried rice and yum yum sauce that automatically comes with mushroom soup with salad and ginger dressing. My wife order shrimp hibachi with fried rice, ordered California roll that came with the same sides. Now prior today we have even there several times dine-in and carry out never a issue. Today totally different, immediately after eating the food that was terrible to TASTE and the fake of feeling nauseas and my wife actually getting sick from the hard rubbery SHRIMP. Now, I called to inform them of the situation and asking what ANYONE would ask for is a full refund for the inconvenience and the lack of performance of staff. This is what is said instead..” our policy is that we can refund the money unless you bring the food back so we can check see how the food looks.” Me not understanding why would that a requirement and how will you review PARTIALLY eaten food that wasn’t expected to be sick from! She talks to the manager essentially, saying the same thing. I asked to speak to the manager directly to explain the situation in the severity of have eaten bad food! And that fact that I’m nausea is an even bigger issue since I am VEGETARIAN! Why should I feel any illness from vegetables and rice?! Proceeds to tell me no I can’t talk to the manager and tell me no i can’t be refunded if the food isn’t brought and I’m explain that we are sick from your food and it’s 10:30pm at night! You expect i regular paying customers to drive 10:30pm to show proof of the food making me and my wife sick in order to get a refund?? BEYOND RIDICULOUS and to top that WHOEVER I was speaking to on the phone told me “i don’t care and hung up the phone” great customer service and that fact you don’t care about people being sick off YOUR food! More worried about if we are LYING just to get out money back! So you absolutely right I said I was going to write a review about your restaurant and poor customer service! My called back and spoke with the “manager” trying to get an understanding of why I was treated this way and why we can’t get our money back. Says the same BS and the owner is saying the same. So I said ok ima bring the food. Manager said “ok bye and hung up” I live 10 mins away drove there to show proof just to get my money back! Now mind you it’s past closing time for there but insisted I bring the food up there. Get there NOBODY there. Knocked on door and called no answer now. So I wasted my time and gas to not get my refund with do what you ask despite the ridiculousness of it. I spent $60 on takeout tipped and everything and bought $5 worth of sauces just for my order to be wrong when I got home :( and the girl who took my order over the phone wanted to let me know when I made it back to the restaurant for a 2nd time that it was my fault my order was incorrect and that next time I need to make sure I tell her what I wanted the first time.. which I did.. the first time I placed my order over the phone.. she couldn’t comprehend what I was saying and that’s not my fault. As a business you take the blame on things like something being incorrect ( it’s should have been a “oh I’m sorry let me fix it for you” with a smile.. I definitely didn’t appreciate being scolded and basically told off when I showed up the second time for my order to be fixed. When I was the one being inconvenienced having to drive back and forth. never again. I didn’t even have a attitude but for $60 and tipping for takeout I guess I just wanted to get what I payed for which is what I asked for over the phone. I know the owner is probably reading, maybe you should have someone who speaks and talks better English to take orders over the phone because it seemed like a language barrier between me and the lady over the phone. Read morewent to dinner with family which included a 4 year old. we arrived before 7 pm, ordered our food, and only received one persons salad and our drinks. by 745 pm, we finally asked if we could have the other salad we ordered, and we asked them to bring our sons food. the waiter never checked on us or refilled our drinks once. we sat until approx 815 pm before finally realizing we prob were not going to ever get our food, as we had watched several to go orders come and go, and everyone else in the place that arrived after us had already received their food, and checks at this point. When we asked for our check, and asked why we had been waiting over an hour for anything, they looked very confused (we assume they mixed our order up or lost it somehow, because they were constantly messing other orders up while we were there) the female said it was because hibachi cooked faster, and the sushi chef was working on our order still. the one service was appalling. the chef was working on to go orders only, as we sat and had watched him for awhile wondering if it was our order he was making, only to watch it get bagged up and handed to someone who came in after us and ordered. this was our second time trying this place, and it will be the LAST. both times we had the same horrible experience, and i don't care how good the food is, esp with a toddler, there is NO EXCUSE for lying to customers, or taking nearly 2 hours with food, let alone even coming up to the table to offer refills or update us on...
