First visit, place was empty. Not a great experience. Tip: don't trust their mobile app or website. Issue 1: the online menu indicated that 2 sides were included so we picked 2 sides. There was no indication that some sides were "premium" & there would be an upcharge. Issue 2: we chose the Georgia sweet sauce. It was not good & had a strange aftertaste, almost as if some type of peach flavoring was used as the sweetener. After 1 bite of it neither of us used any more sauce. Issue 3: I received 3 slices of fried green tomatoes as 1 of my premium sides. Three was enough for a side but I was upcharged for it. (The normal price for that side is $5.99 so $2/slice was a bit much.) The taste wasn't bad but, for that price, it wasn't knock-your-socks-off great either + they were very greasy & no dipping sauce was included. Issue 4: My 2nd premium side was Brunswick stew. The cup I received was barely half full (see picture.) Because I paid extra, I expected a full cup. The stew wasn't bad but it did have a bit of an aftertaste that wasn't exactly pleasant. Issue 5: The brisket was good but our servings were easily 60-65% fat so... Issue 6: the server was nice but was unable to resolve our questions. In conclusion, our to-go meal w/premium sides & no drinks or other add-ons totaled ~$45. In the future, we will drive right by this place & choose the BBQ joint 2 miles down the road which is more expensive but where we will also be somewhat guaranteed a positive experience.

I've added photos of the menu as viewed on a mobile device. Clearly, no mention of an upcharge for...

I LOVE trying new BBQ, and I love trying new BBQ sauces. Since I run my own sauce business, it is fun to try new things, ESPECIALLY when its paired with some good food. Heavenly BBQ lives up to its name. It's exactly that, HEAVENLY BBQ. The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. I was so incredibly happy tasting my fries! And the SAUCE! Whatever the label says is correct, but there is no doubt that it is delicious! The meat just melted in your mouth and was tender. AH! I will brag about this to everyone I talk to.

I also really want to highlight the friendliness of the staff and owners. They really went out of their way to talk to customers and make them feel welcomed. And it wasn't just me, it was everyone who walked through the door. It felt like I was walking into my friend's house and their mom was cooking dinner. You can truly taste the generosity and care in this food. DO NOT skip out on this place. FORGET that chain fast food restaurant next door and get some GOOD BBQ at Heavenly BBQ!

I dined here with my work team for our holiday luncheon opening day and was highly impressed! I had the pork skin appetizer which you don’t usually see on a restaurant menu. The smoked whole wings were cooked to perfection and full of flavor with the meat falling off the bone. The baked beans with the bell peppers are tasty too with just the right amount of sweet. While I’m very critical of mac & cheese, theirs is baked just right with a perfect Mac to cheese ratio. Collards were nice and tender with a little bit of heat which I love. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The owner, Daryl, checked in on us periodically to make sure that we were satisfied with everything. Once we placed and paid for our group order, we received our food in a timely manner. Heavenly BBQ is a great place for a quick lunch or family dinner that has something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. I will definitely be returning to enjoy something else...

Hard to impress a Texan with BBQ. Overall great flavors but was all dry and was only given one sauce container for the meat sampler and only 2 pickles. Best to just ok: sausage was the juiciest, turkey, brisket and pulled pork were very dry. Brunswick was awesome a bit on the sweeter side but we enjoyed it. Greens were very good too. We didn’t get any sauce for the fried tomatoes but the batter was good, personally I think they could have been a bit thicker as you didn’t get much of the tomato flavor. Caveat is we did get it late Sunday afternoon. Will def give them another shot.

New Management - New Experience We ordered several delicious meals that included their " Today's special", which was baby back ribs, and two sides ( ordered coleslaw, and fries) When you can take a plastic knife and cut thru the meat without struggling then it's definitely tender! To top it off we had the NC barbecue and Jalapeno barbecue sauces to dip our ribs into - yummy to the tummy. Another friend ordered the salad, which they said was mouth watering. Tried their brunswick stew Andy had to order more to go... along with the cracklings that were served hot 🔥
