My Sister & I came in around maybe 5ish & sat at a booth because we were waiting for our 3rd sister to join us. We were quickly greeted by our server, a lovely young lady named (please excuse me if I spell it wrong) Nai'. She politely explained what they had on tap & also what foreign beers they had to offer & then took our order for drinks & appetizers then, to our surprise, quickly returned with what we requested. By then we had looked at the menu & had a few questions because EVERYTHING looked so good & we didnt know what to choose! I have to give it up for our Girl 'cause she knew all about that menu! She knew what the people liked too! I ended up ordering the Pulled Pork Sandwich on Texas Toast with Crinkle Fries & My Sister had the Fried Mushrooms. & Y'all! When I tell you that that sandwich was the BOMB!! 💣 I can't even lie! I haven't left a review in quite a while because I really haven't had anything that has you know, STOOD OUT FOR ME. WELL, THIS SANDWHICH DID JUST THAT!! IT STOOD OUT!! 1st, it was HUGE! 2nd, it had just the right amount of bbq sauce on it, & 3rd, I LOVED the slaw on that sandwich with the pickle 2! Just Perfect in my opinion!! But who am I right? Go by this place & see for yourself!! & Ask for Nai'! (I hope I spelled that right cause she sure was a sweetie!) This place used to be really good and our go to spot to meet friends and take family. The food remains pretty good but the service is simply terrible now. Jeff, the best server they had does not seem to be there now as he was not there two weekend days we have tried it lately. The service has been horrible. But what killed it for us was this. My wife and I came in and they were not busy. 3 people at the bar and the bartender looked right at us, said nothing. There were 3 servers at the register area who saw us come in sit down, no one said a word. As we sat about 10 mins completely ignored, a server finally came our way, but walked by and took something to another table, did not even acknowledge us coming or going. Wasn’t like she thought someone else had helped us because the entire staff were talking to each other. I stood up, told the bartender/manager that we really appreciated listening to his conversation at the bar and watching the servers converse while we sat there but I thought we might go somewhere where we can get waited on. I also mentioned that we generally came in 1-2 times a week and tip at least 20% but we will not be back. So yes, if you can get served or someone’s attention the food is good. But don’t go when they are busy, or not, or if you expect good servers. I don’t think they work...
