I order frequently from your chapel Hill and morning Star locations. I have a personal and corporate account when i buy lunch for my employees. Lately it has always been something at your Chapel Hill location, a couple months ago i ordered soda with my pizza and the delivery got forgot it… said he would bring it back and never did. A couple weeks later i ordered pizza and wings and my pizza had shifted to the side as if it was smashed or dropped and my wings were cold. As i tracked my order via the app my delivery time kept changing the driver apologized and told me they added deliveries as he was leaving. This last time i ordered I’m pretty sure i had someone else order and they had mines. I called in and they confirmed i had someone else order. I asked if i can get the correct order sent and they told me it would be a while before they could get it out. I asked for a manager and they put me on hold……came back and said they manager wasn’t available but they can assist. I told them if they couldn’t get my correct pizza that i paid for out to feed my family i wanted a refund. The gentleman put me on hold…. Came back again and apologized and told me i would have to speak to the manager… and before i order online call in and ask for the manager. Today 10-5 i called and asked for a manager and after i was drilled on why i wanted to speak to a manager a young lady finally came on the phone very dry” How can I help you “. I explained my dilemma and she told me she didn’t see any notes so there was nothing she could do. I told her i KNEW this was going to happen and i was upset because my last 3 experiences there was a problem. She put me on hole and came back and said she see no notes so she couldn’t do anything. When i asked for the corporate number she told me unfortunately… they wer franchised and i was speaking to her… Makayla…( so i assume she is the owner). I have always eaten Marcos for about 15 years and never experienced service as bad as my last three visits to your chapel hill location. And Makayla as an owner, you need to understand when there is a mess up… you try to make it right. My money was spent… and in my eyes wasted. I requested a lightly baked pizza as I have been doing since I’ve been visiting this location. Over the phone, I told Mckaleigh that sometimes they skimp me on the ground beef. I let her know that sometimes there are literally 2-3 pieces of meat on a slice. I asked her to make sure they made it correctly. Her response was “if you want more meat, then I’ll have to charge you extra.” I responded by saying “that’s not what I asked for”, and then restated my ask. Long story short, she got nasty. When I arrived at the store, I looked at my pizza and it wasn’t lightly baked, nor was the meat evenly distributed. She took the pizzas, & slammed them in the trash. The new pizzas came out the same way.
I called in the next day looking for the store manager, only to learn from Mckaleigh that her store manager Alison was standing there the day of my visit, and watched the entire interaction. Never once did she intervene.
During this call, Mckaleigh asked if she could assist me. I told her not really since the complaint was against her, instead I requested to speak to the Area Manager. Mckaleigh said I would receive a call from Michelle (area manager). A few minutes after our call, I received a call back from Mckaleigh as she wanted to try and get in front of the situation before I took it higher. She admitted to prejudging me as a customer that wanted more meat for free rather than actually listening. She also admitted to being frustrated which is why she threw pizzas in the trash rather than giving them to me as a curtesy since my order was messed up, and I had to wait for new pizzas. I let her know that I have been a customer for 8+ years, and typically bypass closer locations to come here weekly …sometimes more than once a week. I also informed her that I had just visited this location twice the prior week. She did not care!

Read morePlaced an order for pickup, two meds pizzas for $17.10. Said order would take 15 mins. Get there and was told pizza was just coming out, tried to pay using a CashApp card and was told it didn't go through. Pulled up my app, money is on the card, card has worked fine everywhere else. Cashier then suggests to enter the card manually. Tried that, same error code, but my phone shows that the money was taken out.
The arrogant shift manager comes up and says it's not showing in the system, so contact CashApp. While he's smugly stating the obvious, my phone shows that not only did it go through once, but THREE times. He comes back and says it's nothing they can do.
What do you mean there's nothing you can do, when I can show you proof that the money was taken not once, not twice, but three different times. Was told by the other manager, that if the money doesn't reverse, to come back and show them, and that it happens often with their system.
This is 2019 and if your system is incapable of simple transactions, then maybe, just maybe, it's time to get that updated.
Won't happen again. If I'm going to pay $50 for pizza, I'd prefer it be on a better quality pie.
*Shortly after this review, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner of this location and she apologized for the experience. She sent a nice hand written note along with coupons, and asked that I give them another try. We did and had an awesome experience.
