Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Georgia

I would like to share my experience today with the Marcos on Ridge Road. My two children (one an infant and one 3) attend the child care center right next to this Marcos. I always see delivery cars speeding in and out of the parking lot but today was a whole different experience. After loading up my children, I proceeded to exit the parking lot. There is construction going on that only allows one lane to travel one direction at a time. I was first in line to leave the parking lot and a Marcos delivery driver was directly behind me in a tan sedan with a Marcos sign on the top. I was turning left and the traffic at the time was traveling to my right. The delivery driver proceeds to honk his horn 10 times and throw his hands in the air. When I finally got to proceed he was clapping and making a huge scene. I stayed calm and didn’t gesture back at all as I had my young children with me. After I left I decided to call the store and speak with the manager. I was asked to hold time after time until I was frustrated and asked firmly to speak with a manager. I was told by an assistant manager she knew exactly who the driver was and I would need to speak to the GM. So I waited. The GM then got on the phone and heard my story. I asked him if he wanted me to come there and speak with him and the driver face to face. He then said to me that if I come there he will call the police on me. I never threatened this man or insinuated that I was coming for anything but to figure the situation out. I guess the GM was too scared to handle the situation like an adult and found it easier to dismiss my claim and threaten to call the police on me. I have never in my life seen a professional act this way. Although a pizza man, you are a manager and should act as such. Great pizza but they need to get a handle on employees...

I ordered the cauliflower crusted pizza with extra cheese, red onions and black olives with a Parmesan crust. The first pizza delivered (photo #3)did not have extra cheese and was overly hard and extremely dry and undercooked. Called and spoke with a manager and was informed I could not receive a refund and could get a remake. I received the second pizza hacked up and cut in a way that unappetizing. I called and spoke to Katie who identified herself as the Manager and the person that sliced the pizza. Katie was rude and defensive. I was confused because Katie did spend not one dime on this mess of a meal. Katie stated that she sliced the pizza and that she was sure she sliced the pizza in 6 slices…. Where Katie, do you 6 even slices of pizza in photo 1 or 2? More like 7 purposely hacked slices. I hope you are proud of yourself Katie!!! You’ve managed to ruin my dinner and lose a customer. But, judging by our conversation, I’m sure you don’t care. Way to go Katie 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾awesome way to represent Marcos. Oh, let me say kudos to the delivery driver he was polite and apologetic for the inconvenience. Somebody please, give him a raise! Needless to say, both pizzas made it to file 13….the trash!!!!!...

Too many lazy people working in this place. And there are several, "working"- even with zero cuztomers or cars In the parking lot. You would have to be on fire, standing on a tabletop, screaming out- "Cannibals Converge!" before they would possibly even side glance at you to go on pretending they don't see you still. My foods have sat on the counter, for 20 minutes, as I told her the name, and she looks at it, then searches for another menial task to do, before she 'forgets' to just hand the order across the counter to me, mind you it was called in , so, duh- i waited to come till it was READY. The manager will do the exact same. He is too busy to mange anyone, and jets about from one area to another, Hiding very effectively. I don't even like their pizza, but family insists it's fine . It certainly is very overpriced, for the quality, of service and the low quality food they use. Its unbelievable, they are still I business. Just insane. I should've got a job there, and been paid for ignoring people - but, My active human brain and consciousness are just too alive to be in the same realityfield as these empty...
