Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

The waitress took each of our drink orders one at a time, fulfilling one drink and then asking the next person what they wanted to drink, and then after she disappeared, no one took her place checking on us. There were like 6 people working, and even though they were doing something, they were having personal conversations and largely not really checking on guests. One couple came in after we got our food, and after not being checked on or having their order taken for a few minutes, the couple got up and left. When it finally came time to check out, each of my group were on a separate ticket, and we had to sort out for ourselves who's ticket was who's, with some assistant from the waitress telling us what the shorthand meant. Additionally, two of our group had wanted to use a coupon for a free waffle, and the waitress ended up attributing both coupons to a single person's ticket, so instead of fighting with getting it corrected, we just decided as a group to leave it as was. When we were actually paying for our food, the woman at the register got so distracted by something missing from the register, presumably a bin to put paid tickets in, that she went in search of that before taking my payment, even though I was waiting with my friend who'd paid ahead of me. Additionally, after my friend paid, she was asking the whole staff very loudly who had forgotten to mark their initials on the tickets for our table, since she would have no idea who to give the tip to, so it just seemed like no one had their act together that night. The food itself was good for me, but one person in our group had ordered large hash browns, but she got regular hash browns. She was only charged for the regular, but she really wanted the large. The waitress never actually said that she wouldn't be getting the large hash browns, so all the way up until payment, my friend was still expecting to receive the other half her hash browns. Again, it was easier to just eat a little less and let it go. Another of our group had ordered a sandwich with onions and hash browns without onions, but the onions weren't really at all in the sandwich, while there were onions literally cooked into her hash browns. At approximately 0100 last night, my family and I were there. The cook had a very nasty attitude. Our server was amazing. The cook had an attitude. Because I asked for my pork chops to be rinsed off. He approached me in an aggressive manner. Questioning me why I want them to be rinsed off when clearly you could see their sitting in a bucket of blood. He had a nasty demeanor about him. Not once did he speak. As soon as we left, he engaged in a heated argument with my server. He wasted zero time to confront her when we left. Please watch the surveillance. So you can see him in action. And for the record, he shouldn't be playing on his phone while cooking. I don't care if he changes his gloves. That should be done when he's on break. This is my local Waffle House that we go to when I am in the mood for an omelet or Waffle. Nichole was phenomenal and has been the last few times that we have been in.

I am updating my review but keeping the stars given the same because you have Nichole doing everything from washing dishes, taking orders and to-go orders, taking out the trash, cashing out customers (this was just when we were dining in). Then there is Sky, who is sitting down in a booth with her feet proped up or at the Cash Register playing on her phone. She did get up to help customers that sat in what I am assuming is her section for the night but was yawning without covering her mouth (GROSS) while talking to the customer. Seems to me like she needs to be fired if she can't display even proper food working educate considering we just went through COVID. I wonder how many people have gotten it just from her not covering her mouth...
