This was the MOST degrading and humiliating experience i have EVER had at ANY restaurant....my partner and i go thru the drive-thru order our food...when we got to the window they stated our order was $13.20. It sounded like it was a bit too much so we asked for the receipt...upon receiving the receipt the total was $10.23. So we asked for the change back which we received. However after pulling off and eating in a parking spot we realized we never received our coca cola. We proceeded to pull back to the window a young female opened the window we then told her we NEVER received or drink. The employee told us that s she saw us get the drink and if we wanted another one we were going to have to pay for it!!! I then told her i wanted to speak with a manager and didn't appreciate her calling us liars and she said ok and shut the window. We waited for approx. 15 minutes while the drive thru backed up behind us. The employee NEVER came back too tell us the manager was not coming to speak with us then to our amazement 2 POLICE cars pull in and approached our vehicle asking us why WE were holding the line up. The police accused us of lying as well and treated us as criminals by stating we were being detained...minded you over a $1.00 coke we NEVER received.    Read moreI was hoping this location would have gotten better from the last time I ordered from them, a year ago. I usually don't drive down 41 for work. But, traffic was backed up on I-75 south and 41 was backed up as well.
It turned out to be a huge disappointment. I even called the store to let them know. You get a voicemail to leave a message and I asked for them to return my call.
I used the mobile app and placed a curbside order. It was super fast and a friendly young lady brought out my bag. ( 5 stars for this)
I took off and opened the bag a few minutes later, and the hash brown was missing, and the steak egg and cheese McMuffin was missing 2 ingredients, the grilled onions and cheese. I paid nearly 10 bucks for it and only got half my order. I waited to post this giving them time to respond. But, of course not. I feel like they don't care. I'm not sure if it is a franchise store or corporate. I get super great service at one near my home. But, with the bad accident that happened early Thursday morning on I-75. I did not go my usual route. I will not visit the McDonald's in Acworth Dallas Rd again. Shame that this store does not correctly their mistakes, call us back. From what I see in some of the other reviews.

Tell me why the first thing out of the drive through mouth piece did not say " Our machines are down and we can only take Cash" ... Well, this was not said. Instead they had me sit on a long line at the drive through, 9:30p at night and 25 mins later, I handed the manager my card. She puts her hand up and says cash only. I am staring at her like she lost her mind. She tells me that she told me after I had given my order, which was a lie. First off, why would you take my order without first asking if cash was ok, second, if mentioning to me that they are only taking cash, why would I wait online for almost 25 mins when I didn't have cash on me, & finally, where is the sign any smart fast food restaurant would have hanging out in front of the drive through warning customers that it is cash only. This location, especially in the evening had been one big fail and disappointment. The manager did not offer my breakfast sandwich for free knowing she screwed up, and I left knowing I will never, ever, EVER EVER EVER, come back. It was late, I needed to get home so that I could get up early for work and coming by here just wasted my time..
