I recently visited a McDonald’s location, and while I have had my fair share of experiences with this fast-food giant, this visit stood out for both its positives and negatives.
First and foremost, the convenience of McDonald’s is hard to beat. The drive-thru was quick, and I appreciated the efficiency of the staff taking orders. I ordered a classic Big Mac meal with fries and a soft drink, along with a side of Chicken McNuggets. The process was seamless, and I didn’t have to wait long before receiving my order.
When I got my food, the presentation was typical for fast food—nothing fancy, but everything looked appetizing. The Big Mac lived up to its reputation: the combination of the special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions made for a satisfying burger experience. The fries were hot and crispy, a classic that never disappoints. However, I did notice that the portion size seemed smaller than I remembered, which was a bit disappointing.
The Chicken McNuggets were also enjoyable, especially when dipped in the tangy barbecue sauce. However, I found that some of the nuggets were less crispy than I expected, which affected the overall enjoyment.
One downside to my visit was the cleanliness of the dining area. While the staff was busy, I noticed that several tables were not wiped down, and the floor was a bit sticky. It’s important for fast-food restaurants to maintain a clean environment, especially during busy hours, as it contributes to the overall dining experience.
Lastly, the pricing at McDonald’s remains reasonable, which is a huge draw for many customers. The value meals offer a good balance of cost and quantity, making it a popular choice for families and individuals on the go.
In summary, my visit to McDonald’s was a mixed bag. While the food was largely what I expected and the service was efficient, cleanliness could use improvement. Nonetheless, McDonald’s continues to be a reliable option for quick, satisfying meals. I will likely return, especially for those...
Read moreBottom line up front: this is arguably the worse McDonald's I've eaten at and I've eaten at some pretty dumpy McD's all across the US.
When you eat at McDonald's you don't expect much... They are a convenient stop to catch food. Because they've been in business for so long, there's not really going to be anything that unique about their service or product to make you really seek it out. That being said you do expect them to meet bare minimum standards. Here's a few examples of how this particular location failed miserably at meeting basic minimum standards:
Dirty tables, with no napkins available for me to clean it myself. When I asked for some extra napkins, I received a grand total of 6 napkins. Not 6 extra napkins (my food came with none), 6 total to share between me and 2 toddlers... In the dirty table I had to clean before my daughter's and I began to eat.
2 week old expired milk in both of the Happy Meals I ordered. When I went to exchange them at the front I received 2 more bottles, one of which was also expired. When I brought this up, the server (who was seemingly annoyed at me coming back) gave me 2 boxes of juice instead since all the rest of their milk was expired.
Excessively slow service. Full disclosure, I went at lunch time, so I expected a wait... but they exceeded 20 minutes and the lobby only had 5 total customers. Of course there were drive thru customers too, but 20+ minutes is still pretty bad.
Old dried out fries... Self explanatory
Poor customer service. The cashier who rang us up was kind (giving credit where it was due), but my interaction with server was rough. Unfortunately I had to have multiple interactions so it drowned out the kindness of cashier.
In summary, I always expect very little out of McDonald's, but somehow this location managed to still come in below my...
Read moreIf i'm being honest, i would give this location a 0 star review if I could. This was the WORST drive thru experience of my life. We stopped at this location for convienance since it was right next to the high way and we just needed something quick for breakfast. Obviously, the wait time was longer than usual due to the fact that everyone is understaffed right now but after waiting 30 minutes just to get to the drive through window to pay, I realized that they left off a sweet tea from my order as I was looking over the reciept after paying. As I pulled to the next window to get our food, I gathered enough money for the tea that was left off and asked the drive through clerk if she could please ring me up for an extra tea. I was told no, that they could not do this. She was very rude the entire time.. started throwing her hands up and yelling that they just couldn't do it and that it was not possible. (I have worked drive through myself so I knew this was just her not wanting to) So, I asked to speak with her manager. She grabbed a lady that looked like she could be my child and then she proceeded to tell me no as well and then a 3rd lady said the same. They were all VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND GHETTO. Then, they forgot 4 of our hashbrowns, 1 chicken biscuit and didn't even give me straws for the drinks that i did recieve... I had to pull around, go inside and WAIT even LONGER. Then the dining room cashier grabbed the drive through clerk and she took my reciept and NEVER CAME BACK with my reciept OR MY FOOD!!!!! At this point, my kids were starving and I had a screaming baby in the car and was ready to go. This was absolutely the WORST...
