This location is hit or miss. Usually miss. Unfortunately, most of the McD's in the area are worse. (Don't get me started at that lousy one in Acworth on Mars Hill.)
To start, the attitudes toward customers here is atrocious. Not everyone. Just too many of them. You have to repeat yourself constantly. If I need more napkins, I practically have to yell and repeat myself. The worker seems upset over the inconvenience. Same goes for another cup because you wisely can't reuse the previous one.
Today one of the managers on duty was completely rude to me on that latter. After waiting and waiting after I asked for a cup a couple times, she finally got me a cup of tea. I didn't want tea. I just wanted a cup. I told her again, and she yelled "What do you want?" Geez. A cup. Just a cup. She definitely needs to be retrained.
A few days ago I got a McChicken. When I opened to bag, the sandwich had fallen out of the wrapper. It fell in the bag, so I ate it. But messy.
The men's room only gets cleaned when the maintenance man is there. One day recently the handicapped stall floor was covered with tissue and urine for the entire length of my visit. Doesn't anyone check the restrooms?
The dining area is rarely wiped down after customers, even during the pandemic. The floors are cleaned even less.
Once the GM leaves, the store goes to pot. After the rude incident with the cup earlier, I asked to see the GM. The rude woman snapped that he was on break. Once he returned, I was out here still in the dining room. She never mentioned to him apparently that I wished to speak with him. How unprofessional.
I could go on. A reader of this might ask why I come back. Good question.
At least the food is good. Unlike other nearby spots, the fries are fresh and the nuggets aren't burned.
You may notice that this is my first Google review. I'm so disappointed in how much the surveys don't work. They're worthless. So...
Read moreIt is now 3 months later with no response or contact from Mc D's. Very disappointed.
If I could do ZERO stars I would. I have written a letter about my experience but no feedback. No surprise. My wife and I ordered a big breakfast and her biscuit and hashbrowns and my coffee. The employee had a hard gime getting order right. On getting our order I got my coffee , one beverage for 2 people. Waited for wifes frappee and finally had to ask for it. Employee asked for my ticket and she looked and said I did not order it. We did because the employee that took order had difficulty getting flavor right. This one said you did not order it. Again I said we got one beverage and there are 2 of us. She turned and walked off which I thought she was going to get it and she just started filling orders for drive through with no intention of trying to resolve problem. Other customers standing around made comments Ike they are struggling and they need help. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO LIVID IN MY LIFE , I WAS SHAKING. I did not finish eating I was so humiliated. As we left I ask the order taker who the mgr was and she pointed to the short woman who I had the exchange with and immediately I knew it was futile. As I said I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. I have been involved customer service for over 45 years and owned a restaurant for 3 years and am just mystified at this level of customer service. Mc Donalds should be disappointed and ashamed of this level of customer service. I don't expect anything from this cause Mc D's is large too large to be concerned about one small order.
This is Sep 9th with no response. Don't guess you are interested in the lack of customer service. This was the most disrespectful show of customer servive I have...
Read moreMcDonald's was founded in 1940 by brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald who opened a barbecue restaurant in San Bernardino, California. In 1948 they revamped their business into a hamburger stand using production line principles. Ray Kroc joined the brothers as a franchise agent in 1955. He eventually bought them out and grew McDonald's by establishing franchises across the U.S. Franchising allowed McDonald's to expand rapidly by having local owners operate each restaurant according to strict company standards. Kroc also implemented training programs to maintain consistency. McDonald's further expanded its reach by tailoring food offerings to local markets while keeping core menu items. The company became an international franchise in 1967 by opening a restaurant in Canada. McDonald's grew to over 30,000 locations by the 1990s, cementing itself as the world's largest restaurant chain. The franchising model allowed the company to grow quickly while maintaining control over products and branding. McDonald's remains committed to the franchise model today, with around 93% of its locations owned and operated by local franchisees. The focus on franchising allowed McDonald's to scale rapidly and drive global recognition...
