We visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. My dad is disabled, and accessibility is important to us. Upon arrival, there was no host or signage indicating where to go. When we asked the bartender, we were told that tables were first come, first served. We grabbed a table inside while my dad waited outside for an outdoor spot.
Inside, it was loud and messy, and it took a while before anyone came to clean the table or take our order. As they were wiping the table, my dad signaled that an outdoor table was available, so we moved. My mom informed the waitress, but instead of acknowledging us, she seemed annoyed.
After about 10 minutes, another waitress with short brown hair approached and told us we needed to move because someone had been waiting an hour for that table. There was no waitlist, no system in place, and no staff informing us of any rules. When I explained that my dad is disabled and was struggling with mobility, she was dismissive and insisted we leave the table without any consideration.
We had heard great things about this place, but with staff being unhelpful and rude, we won’t be returning. Better organization and a more accommodating attitude toward customers, especially those with disabilities, would make a...

we came on a Friday around 4:30 We brought over $500 to the venue btw we had open tables for the parents and kids that we got after them being open. they got busy and decided to remove our kids legos, pickle ball gear and drinks from their table after telling them our kids were on the playground while waiting for their food in addition to our food and drinks.
they made us move our kids from the table ( 7 plates of food and drinks for 3 plates and drinks who they sat in our kids place. ) moved them to “bar stool seats” which they didn’t have enough of to take care of our kids. so we had to stand while our kids ate
We have came before and they have told us “they don’t have space for us”
But now they are moving us and inconveniencing us to make room for 3 people?
This place has slowly went down and this was the last straw for us. They even said to our kids playing at the playground that’s 100 feet away that “well we don’t cater to that”
They lost not just us but 15-20 other people that they totally screwed over.
I have never been told by a restaurant to move to other guests that shows up after us to give up space as it is first come...
Read moreMy wife and I ventured out for our first dinner out since the quarantine. We chose Tavern at Town Lake. They were not ready to open.
First we had to ask for our table to be cleaned off from the stains and crumbs from the previous party.
The server brought us a regular menu and apologized saying they ran out of paper menus. I had to go up to the bar and get my own drinks, silverware, and napkins that were never brought to us after ordering.
Only two waiters were working for the whole place which was filled with customers. They could not keep up with demand.
Both waiters had face mask hanging around their necks but never once put them on at all.
Food once served was good except my order was not complete and although she promised to fix the issue, the rest of my order never arrived.
My wife finally went to our waiter for a take home box, the check, and the rest of my meal. Again promised, but never arrived.
We totalled our meal off the menu and left cash on the table. We advised the waiter on the way out and she again apologized.
Not going back...
