So first time at this location, glad it wasn't my first experience with Milk & Honey. This was my first and last time patronizing this particular location. I wasn't expecting to be totally underwhelmed and dissatisfied with our visit.

We had reservations so they were aware of our party size. We were seated at 2 separate tables, not pushed together or side-by-side. We weren't able to have conversations without yelling across to the other table. The seating area is small and limited so it's a tight fit even if we weren't together. The chairs are very close to each other and the tables are pushed as close to the walls as possible. Unfortunately there was a tar smell the day we visited. I don't believe it was from the restaurant but since we were seated in the covered outdoor area, the smell was strong.

We continually had to flag down another server or staff person to ask them to send our server. She was sweet but not attentive at all, like at all. Every time she did come to the table after being called upon, she didn't have the item we had asked for. All of orders went in at the same time, per the restaurants request, yet our food came out about 20-30 a part, so we didn't get to eat together.

Everything we asked for had to be request 2-3 times before we received it, or we simply didn't receive it at all. Once the 2nd set of meals finally arrived, we didn't see our server not once she never returned to ask if we had everything we ordered, or if we needed anything else, or wanted a drink, nothing. A different staff member brought our plates to the table, so we didn't have the opportunity to speak with our server. We had to once again ask a neighboring server to send ours to the table. When she finally appeared we expressed concerns regarding some of the meals and items we hadn't received. Shortly after a women who seemingly was the manager, there was no introduction so I'm not sure, anyways, she preceeded to try to comfort us with words but wasn't saying anything of value. She never addressed our concerns, but she offered several excuses. After extensive conversation, which was totally unnecessary, she offered to discount our bill, which we were not asking for in any way. We simply wanted what we ordered and paid for, and a simple apology and act of kindness to resolve the issues would've been the most professional response.

So upon reviewing the bills, we were offered a 5% discount. Not replacement of the overcooked meals, or items not received, not to mention the overall poor experience. They dropped the ball repeatedly. This negative experience, and negative yet accurate review, could've been a avoided. The experience was so poor that we couldn't in good faith walk away like nothing happen. When you have a several guests sharing the similar concerns, it can't be all of the guests that are the problem. Hopefully the owners and staff earnestly listen to customers concerns and put actionable plans in place to address and course correct. If not, then it'll work for whomever this type of experience works for, but it work anyone from our group, as collectively we agreed it wasn't worth a return visit. Not the food, not the drinks, not the atmosphere, and absolutely not the service. Hated that there wasn't anything redeemable about this experience, even though we afforded the staff and "manager" more than one opportunity to recover. Not to mention hearing the neighboring customers express concerns to their servers regarding issues with their food.

I always take pictures of my food experiences, but I was so distracted by the experience that I didn't realize I had only taken 1 of the mediocre mimosa that came before everything continued to go downhill. šŸ™ƒ

Ok that it. Don't recommend, and will not return to this...

To end our Saturday Date- I took this Special Guy out to LINNER (late lunch early dinner) to a Fave we haven’t seen since them Covid years… We ventured to Milk n Honey off Cascade only to see that they were closing in one minute so I immediately turned around and went out the door… A waitress followed us out and said, ā€œWait, our GENERAL MANAGER wants you to come on in and DINE with us or takeout if you preferā€ā€¦

I personally was flabbergasted by HER KINDNESS & WILLINGNESS to ALLOW us to come in with a minute to closing… Who does that? MILK N HONEY…. GM Brittany, was the most Gracious Host, tending to every need and SERVING with a smile, good heart and so loving it was infectious to say the least… WE WERE EXTREMELY HUMBLED by their GRACE and GENEROSITY… See because they didnt have to BUT they DID… NOT all HUMANITY IS LOST… She did it from the ā™„ļø and THIS will stay with us Forever…

Knowing that THEY did that for US- we in turn took a few bites and sips and said to her- ā€œSince its closing and we are appreciative of the hospitality- we arent gonna stay too long so you can CLOSE UP SHOP and get home to your familiesā€.. We boxed up our Delicious, Savory, Mouth watering pleasing to the palette dishes to dine Home… She was so reassuring about us staying but if you know me and E we dont like causing problems or taking away from others so we said, ā€œWe good so they could be too!ā€.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR ALL YOUR DINING PLEASURE… Dem Lamb Chops, Mac n Cheese, Honey Biscuits, Pineapple Mimosas and The Hangover to Die For! Man oh Man!

Just get there before closing time… šŸ˜‚

Thank you MILK N HONEY… You put the S in SERVICE… You put your Foot down to please our palettes. You put your whole selves in to making our date night Special! Blessings...

Initially I gave them 5 stars, however after Sunday, April 14th I will NEVER return. Me and my party arrived around 9:30am on a rainy day. They actually held a faculty meeting and didn't open the doors until around 10:10 (they open at 10am). We were first in line and escorted to our seats first, however other tables were waited on before us. My cousin sent his tea back because something was floating around in the cup. To make matters worse, the waitress brought our tickets and verses leaving she actually waited at the table for us to pay (while we are drinking our drinks), once we paid The Hostess came over and asked if we enjoyed the meal and if we had closed out our ticket. She then asked us to leave because they had an hour waiting list, as soon as she left the waitress came and started cleaning the tables as we are talking. I have NEVER felt so rushed to eat and leave in MY LIFE. I drove from Henry County and this is unacceptable! DO NOT take my money then rush me to leave, do not hover over my table waiting for my money as I drink my Tea, Do not interrupt me as I hold a conversation. How can you have customers standing outside PAST your opening time, then RUSH them to leave. The customer service on Sunday was the worst ! I understand having a wait list, I have been to restaurants were you have to wait before seated, but NEVER have I been asked to leave as soon as I pay.

First Visit:The food was heavenly!! It took a little while to get our food due to a large party ahead of us but Devin came over and apologized and gave us a discount, without me even asking! I loved the restaurant, I wish I had a picture of the honey biscuit but my daughter...
