Absolutely horrendous service tonight. Among the worst I've ever experienced. Server was DJ. His initial greeting was great. After that...he never came around to ask if anyone needed refills, update us on the food, check on the table, or anything. We had to stop and ask him for drink refills on two separate occasions. Both times he did not make sure all of us got refills and he missed some of us because he was too quick to move on to the kitchen. The second round of refills he left 3 of my parties drinks on a tray at the bar and never came back to give them to us. I never got a refill the entire visit. I was waiting to see if the server would notice. After the apps and food came he never came around to check on how the food came out. He walked right by multiple times without even looking at our table. Our food took over an hour to come out with zero updates, zero refills offered. The restaurant was not busy at this point. The cornhole tournament was over at this point in time. Spoke to the manager about the food taking so long and instead of apologizing he said he was going to go investigate and see what's going on. When he came back, he said...I'm not sure what happened, but, he offered us free desserts. He did confirm that he saw that it was actually over an hour to get the food out. I love Miller's ale house and have never had a negative experience here before but if this is the way the restaurant is handled now I'll never come back. We won't be coming back for a long long while anyway. We were seated a few minutes after 8 pm and were still sitting in the restaurant until 10:30 pm. We had to ask our server to bring our checks because our server never stopped to ask if we were ready for it. When the checks came the desserts the manager said were free were charged on our bill. Took them forever to figure that out. On the way out no one said have a great night, thanks for coming, sorry for the wait,...
Read moreOk, Sooo… this was my first time here. I ordered a House margarita, the baby back half rack & fried shrimp from the All Day Deals menu, and a Caesar salad, thinking they probably sell a lot of this dish and it would be pretty good. I was WRONG!! First, Kitchen was VERY slow! (Allow me to set the stage here) I’m a ONE drink girl. If a margarita is made correctly, it’ll sneak up on you, and when it does, I will “bob and weave” complete with slurred speech and all! I’m pretty funny for several hours (ask my husband)! The house margarita was tasty, BUT couldn’t have had ANY tequila in it AT ALL. (I guess you should expect that for a $3.00 drink)?
The first order of ribs arrived to the table with a temperature I will call “cool”. There was so little sauce I had to ask for extra. After one bite, I sent it back. The waitress was very accommodating and said she’d bring another order. The second order arrived piping hot. Almost NO SAUCE. I’m guessing the ribs are pre-made somewhere else, and they heat em up when you order. I can describe them in two words: NASTY and FLAVORLESS! The little shrimp were OVERCOOKED and NASTY. Couldn’t eat ‘em. The hallmark of a good Caesar salad is that it arrives at your table ice cold. My salad was lukewarm, with WILTED leaves. Couldn’t eat it. Based upon this experience, I couldn’t in good conscience recommend eating here.
The waitress took my order off the bill. Staff was very pleasant and the restaurant looked pretty nice, but with food like that, I don’t understand how they stay...
Read moreFood and drinks were excellent, definitely recommend! However. avoid a server named Alma! Two of my girlfriends and I were out celebrating one of their birthdays! Alma informed us when we sat down that we were only allowed two 6 oz glasses of wine OR one 6 oz and one 9 oz glass of wine! We have been to Miller’s Ale House numerous times, and thought this was kinda strange- but it was a Tuesday night so we were fine not having more than 2 drinks each!! We are all professionals and in our 40s, so to be told from the moment we sat down that we were limited on our number of drinks per a new restaurant “policy” by management- we thought was strange! Let me add that none of us had been drinking prior to coming into the restaurant! We assumed, based on what Alma told us, that this was a new restaurant policy since it is a in a college town! We agreed that we probably wouldn’t come back! Fortunately my husband asked me to go to lunch with him today- and he chose Miller’s! I didn’t plan on drinking, so I reluctantly agreed! While there- I questioned the bartender about their “new policy”! The bartender new exactly why I was asking her about this because evidently this was not the first time she has gotten that question or concern! In the end- I’m glad I asked because Miller’s DOES NOT have a 2 drink limit and Alama was completely lying to us about the new restaurant policy! Therefore, I will be back and I will make sure that I ask NOT to be placed in...
