Took me and my 9 out to eat here and the place was empty, which was actually a plus. DON'T WASTE GOT TIME ORDERING DRINKS unless you're ok spending $2 for a can of Lipton Brisk... that made me a little salty DON'T ORDER CHICKEN TENDERS OR FRIES probably two of the few items not made in house and it shows and they were so overcooked and hard my 3 year old wouldn't eat them. Highlights- we did try the tandoori chicken pizza and i think the people raving about it obviously never had a piece of tandoori in their lives. It wasn't bad in fact the crust and sauce were a solid but the chicken tasted like grilled chicken drenched in red hot sauce. HOWEVER my son ordered a tandoori chicken with the rice and Salad and requested a pita bread to make his own wrap and had leftovers and his was delicious! Don't go here expecting a traditional bun while tasty it isn't what americans customarily expect and the patties are formed by hand and they need some lessons bc mine was in pieces. I appreciate the effort and overall it was good but that's just kinda what you get when you go to an Indian restaurant and ask for a burger lol and I'm from Alabama i probably would have left mad if i had ordered the fried chicken and biscuits... just saying Chicken wraps tasty and delicious however is suggest doing what my son did and order the chicken with the rice and Salad, swap out the cuke sauce for the yogurt sauce and make your own requesting a piece of pita with the dinner...SAME PRICE and you have meat and rice leftover. they didn't have latte, but the 'frappuccino' was tasty if you like a nice coffee drink that really taste like coffee WILL GO AGAIN, WILL RECOMMEND
**guess i chimed in too soon following up it appears that I got food poisoning from the beef, less than 8 hours and i was hugging my toilet and have been throwing up with a fever and abdominal cramping tantamount to labor all day long and all my kids that had salad (improperly washed veggies) got diarrhea, so not so sure well revisit this spot...
Read moreThis was my go to spot. Now more often than not I go to another spot, the food here is halal and that's a plus. However, The food was great but it has drastically taken a nose dive.! The prices have gone up in the texture and flavor of the food gone down.! For some reason they can't ever seem to get my order right anymore and I spend well over $100 here every single time! The wait time is also outrageous for burgers and fries. And they spent a lot on upgrading their building and it does look amazing! Now they need to spend time upgrading their employees, they're always on your phone probably one of the reasons my orders always messed up🫤 More often than not the cashiers are not friendly or enthusiastic to have a customer come in which says a lot for the management part of any company. And the fact that lassie/ milkshake machine is always down it's definitely not appealing to me. When I go here I normally have to purchase the drinks prior because the selection is extremely poor..... If you have 25 minutes to wait on one Burger then go for the go ahead. But if you in a hurry 😑..... Even with calling my order in not very helpful. Especially because it's wrong 50% of the time it has really changed my appetite for this place. Not going to get more than three stars for me. And definitely might change it to one star if I happen to be in the area and decide to eat here again and I get the same poor food and service. As always the choice to eat here is up to you. But my reading will stay the same so long as the decline in your service and food...
Read moreHistorically, Murrays had quality halal options that couldn't be beat. However, for the past couple of years they have been taking advantage of their customers. First, their customer service is absolutely horrid, it borderlines on disrespectful. They have an attitude that makes it seem like their are doing the world a favor. While it is appreciated that they have an all halal menu, now that there are more halal options in the area, just existing cannot be their only claim to fame. Second, while I understand that post covid inflation is inevitable, Murrays has raised their prices but also significantly decreased their serving sizes. On top of that, they have continued to perform inadequately when they do not provide the value of food that they are charging for. For example numerous times I've ordered a Meat Lovers pizza, and almost every time they continuously to skimp on the toppings. I counted literally 4 pieces of pepperoni, a few strips of ham, and 4 pieces of sausage on a 14" pizza.
Honestly of things don't change at Murrays, things are only going to get extremely worse. On another recent visit, I saw a man smoking a heroin pipe in the entrance, when informing the staff, they dismissed it and took no action. They regularly have homeless people outside their exit harrasing people frequenting the restaurant.
The staff is unmotivated, highly disrespectful, and often rude and dismissive.
I would not recommend this location at ALL. They over charge, under deliver, and give a bad name to Muslim...
