My Friend's Place — Restaurant in Georgia

First time I went about 6 weeks ago the sandwich The NYer was very good, the young lady at cashier was being trained but very nice.

The second time I ordered a chicken melt wrap and it seemed like whoever put it together was in a rush or lazy. The chicken itself was dry, it had about 4 large apple pieces (size of a nickel), the slice of cheese thrown on the top and the tomatoe pieces on top like a taco but pretty large sizes as well. The wrap wasnt rolled so when i opened it was just “blah”.

I gave it one last chance thinking maybe the second time was a fluke and someone having a bad busy day. I called my order in this time but website has no description of the sandwiches - they just have names. I asked lady if she can tell me what each had and she seemed annoyed but proceeded to tell me in a super fast pace (i figured she was busy). When I went to pickup only 2 customers at table so wasnt being rushed off phone. I had ordered a chicken hot sandwich and the bread was somewhat toasted and the chicken was cold ! (Assuming chicken was in fridge and when melted/pressed on toast didnt warm up except for toast). 😮‍💨 ate only part of it bc hungry and no time to get something else on my break. Threw rest out.

Last time i get food from there. Told it use to be good but...

I love this franchise. I was sad when the Norcross location closed. I was happy to find one not too far away, and even in a nicer area. The restaurant is an updated version of the ones I've seen but someone doesn't have their eye on the ball. The floors and layout and counter were nice. The food was similar. The cleanliness of the space was awful. The men's restroom was gross, and needs a deep clean. Gunk in every corner, and smelly. The booths were sticky and had trash. The one table by the counter (that you must pass to go pick up your food), was covered in restaurant paperwork, spilling into the chairs. There is no wifi. The team was not pleasant or polite. I was the only one there on a Saturday and they didn't say hello when I entered or Goodbye when I left -as I emptied my tray. This could be a good place, if someone would wake up. Used to love this place. Under new ownership and they have cut their portions of the salads (chicken, egg) back by more than 50% of what they used to serve. There was barely any chicken salad or cheese or tomatoes on my pita ordering the melt. I should. Have taken a photo it was so bad. And now today had egg salad and I swear it was more than half less than what they used to serve. This is twice now since new ownership took over. Must be cutting costs but customers won’t keep paying the same prices for less. Predict they will be closed by the end of the year if they don’t...
