Step inside the oldest continuously operating store in Georgia! 🧺 The Old Sautee Store has been serving the Sautee Nacoochee Valley since 1872—part mercantile, part museum, and fully charming. Grab a cold drink, browse local goods, and soak in a little piece of history. #OldSauteeStore #mountaintown #hiddengem #mountainlife #history

Oh no what used to be a landmark with great food has become a really bad place to eat. There must be a new management or something because we went and ordered food today after we paid for it they brought us these pathetic unsightly in pitifully tasting cold sandwiches wrapped in clear Saran Wrap.... you could get a better sandwich from your local convenience store they used to make great sandwiches with sourdough bread and when you walked in it smelled amazing. When we went in today we immediately noticed it didn't smell inviting or appetizing and the place was not crowded. When we went to the counter cheerful and excited to have lunch a strange guy behind the counter walked up and looked at us... yep, he was the employee but we had to say Hi how are you and he still barely spoke. We will never go here again this is a sinking ship don't know what's going on up there. Again, most importantly what used to be a landmark for great food and a must stop location will probably fail now.

We had an apple butter bread pudding that was still warm and it was dreamy 🤤 the sandwiches and broccoli salad were great. A sweet place to grab picnic faire before heading to the river.

I’ve been coming here with my family every year for Christmas for the past 11 years and during the summer to get lunch. It was my all time favorite place to eat in Helen. However, the food has changed so much. I use to walk in and smell the fresh bread and now they have pre made food with store bought bread. I also missed getting a pickle and lettuce and tomato on my sandwich. I recommend that you guys bring back the nice warm bread and make stuff right on the spot instead of storing it. I also think the sandwiches shouldn’t be wrapped in...

QUICK AND FRIENDLY SERVICE!! what a cute sandwich shop! the ice cream is delicious and the sandwiches are pretty good too! they’re very simple which is great because i don’t like places that make their sandwiches with a lot on them. everything is already made so you pretty much get your food as soon as you order which i LOVE!! definitely would recommend trying especially if you’re always on...
