This was the worst pizza experience of my life. We called in two pizzas and when we got there we waited for 45 minutes and they had not started the pizza. There were about 12 people waiting in the lobby and no one was getting their pizzas. The four people working did not know what they were doing. I asked for a refund and the manager did not know how to give me my money back and informed me we had to come back the following day. Why and how can someone be promoted to manager without knowing how to run the register? I then drove to the powder springs store and they had my pizza ready in 15 minutes. This store is a disgrace and the franchisee needs to be held accountable for hiring incompetent people. The store is also dirty. This place is a disgrace to all Pizza Huts. Wow, how far they have fallen. They gave me a store credit but I will not believe it until I actually get it. I also went online to the customer service chat. They said that someone would get back with me and email me but they have not. Nothing has been done and it is now three weeks later. This is a classic example of people from other countries buying a franchise and NOT keeping our standards that for that franchise and they run it into the ground. It is a shameful disgrace! Why does Pizza Hut Corporation let this happen? This is why Pappa Johns and Johnnys pizza are beating them. The board of directors at Pizza Hut has obviously been compromised because they clearly no longer have high standards for Franchisees or staff and clearly do not care of Pizza Hut goes out of business. I donāt imagine I will ever hear back from the actual store manager. I am honestly more upset with the corporate number that I called and the escalation manager that DID NOT de-escalate my situation.
We ordered delivery tonight, wanted to have a calm night in after working a 12 hour shift as a nurse. Our doorbell rang and by the time we got down to the door(1 minute tops) the delivery driver was already backing out of our driveway. We were missing our 2 liter drink and breadsticks, one of our pizzas was wrong and they also sent wings with barely any sauce on them at all. We called the delivery driver and he told us to contact the store. We tried to call the number online and it takes you to a call center. Once in the call center they transferred us to the store which after ringing for about 5 minutes it eventually hangs up on you. We went through this process about 10 times. We finally got transferred to the escalations team and they were no help either. We just told them we wanted our money back for the missing and incorrect items. She told us that the district manager would have to do that. She said she would send an email and call us back within 24-48 hours. We are not holding our breath on that one. About 45 minutes of dealing with this our doorbell rings again. We go down to open the door and our drink was sitting on the porch and the driver again was already down the road. We contacted the store and they sent another order: this time, burnt to a crisp. So I took both orders back to the store to show the problem and have it corrected. The guy who I assume was the manager did not even look up from his phone as he told the kitchen to drope another order. When they came he, he threw them in a metal mixing bowl and walked them out into the lobby to show me that "this is how they look when they come up, so I don't accuse them of burning them again." I've worked in food service for over 15 years - I don't mean to be a jerk, but I am well aware of how wings should look when cooked. The problem isn't that i don't know how to cook the wings, the problem is that apparently they don't. I felt this was incredibly disrespectful and uunwarranted. I tried calling to file a complaint, but as others have commented in their reviews, the customer service line is unhelpful at best. I tried going through the escalation team and got hung up on three times before finally being able to speak to a manager, but she was unable to help in any way - she couldn't even give me the store managers name so I could file a formal complain on him in the event that any person at Pizza Hut ever decides to take any of this seriously. We've lived here for 10 years and in that time I'm not sure these guys have ever gotten the order 100% correct, but it's never been this egregious before. After this experience we probably won't do business with pizza hut ever again, but if we do, it certainly won't be...
