Iâm not one to leave a negative review but I am super bothered about how I was treated here. I was alone with my 5 children (ages 5-11) and had giftcards to Subway, I walked in and was greeted by Avery. She asked how many sandwiches and I said â6â her eyes got wide and asked â6?â In a surprisingly rude tone. I asked âyes, is that a problem?â She said âwell you usually canât order more than 5 sandwiches in a walk in order and this should be a catering event.â There was no one else in line so I asked âthere are 5 kids and no one else here and it needs to be catering?â She finally took our order. Then had an attitude when she asked me to specify what Italian bread I wanted âwhite or herbs and cheese?â Rolled her eyes as if I knew the menu like the back of my hand. Then proceeded to ask me what I wanted on the first sandwich, I asked if it was a kids sandwich she was doing first or a 6 inch (I had 2 kids sandwiches and 4 6 inch) she proceeded again to roll her eyes and said âkidsâ so I gave the order. She was ready for the second sandwich order so I gave the next kids sandwich and she proceeded to let out a deep sigh like she was irritated and grabbed the kids which was at the end her sandwich line. Mind you, I couldnât see what the bread was. Eventually I asked for the meatball sandwich and she told me they were out of meatballs, like I missed a sign somewhere or was super irritated I even tried to order it. Finally, we were able to move on to the condiments which was another guy working with her. He was super pleasant and never made me feel like I was burden like Avery did. Going to the store with 5 kids is overwhelming and the looks people give you can be embarrassing, Avery is as exactly one of those people I hate to run into at the store with my kids when I feel the judgmental eyes on me. Oh, absolutely none of their sodas at their machine worked and I didnât even want to have another encounter with Avery so I walked out with 6 empty subway cups and...
Read moreNegative stars. This rating is for the Subway located inside WalMart at 3615 Charles Hardy Parkway, Dallas, GA. I received coupons in the mail for Subway. While going to WalMart for groceries I went in the Subway inside the WalMart on Dallas Hwy to eat lunch. I haven't been in any Subway for decades due to poor quality food and bad service. After this visit I understand why I have wisely avoided this establishment.
When you walk up to the counter at this Subway the first thing your eye sees is a note stuck to the wall, something to the effect of 'No coupons allowed on Subway Series' whatever that means.
Basically this franchise Subway will not accept a coupon for 90% of their posted menu items (sandwiches #1 - 12). Not a good first impression for any guest.
Next, as usual at most Subways, my wife's BMT sandwich bread was hard and inedible. My foot-long steak and cheese was cold and unimpressive overall.
Also my wife's shirt was ruined by blood red dye from the Icee machine that was splattered all over her drink cup given to her by a Subway manager (see pictures). The red Icee mix got on her fingers when she held the cup. When she noticed and told the old woman manager Anita she could have cared less about damaging her clothing.
I had to ask for the franchise owner's name to report this incident to. After a 6-8 minute wait the woman manager Anita gave me a corporate name of 'Dakota Enterprises Inc.' in Austell, GA (no individual owner like Subway loves to brag about) and a fake phone number. I found the real number via Google search. I will see if they care about their customer experience and damage to personal property due to careless employee negligence.
My advice to everyone is to let the hourly WalMart employees continue to use this Subway as their personal break room and avoid...
Read moreThis was one of the most disappointing Subway visits Iâve had. When we arrived, it took about three minutes to even get greeted, despite the fact that there were two employees standing behind the preparation bar. I ordered the chicken avocado sub, and it came out without avocado. We had to go back up to request it, and it still took nearly ten minutes for the employee to finish making just two sandwiches. He barely spoke to us the entire time and moved extremely slowly.
When we went to get drinks, the machine was dirty and concerning. There was sludge, mildew, and mold around the drain with fruit flies coming out of it. On top of that, the drink had no carbonation. Finally, when we sat down to eat, our subs were soggy and completely lacking flavor.
Overall, this location felt unclean, unprofessional, and exhausting to deal with. Definitely not the kind of experience I expect...
