My husband and I wanted to try new restaurants in our area, so we decided to try this restaurant. The waitress seemed new because she was unsure of herself, but that’s expected with new servers. We both ordered shrimp pacata with a Greek salad. The salad was delicious. It’s hard to mess up a salad. Dinner plates were delivered to our table. We looked at both of our plates and noticed my plate had more shrimp than his and double the pasta. There 3 shrimp on one plate and 6 on the other?!?! The cook needs to learn to serve the same portions of duplicates dishes. I gave my husband my plate, took his, and motioned the server over to our table. I pointed out the discrepancies and the server acted like she didn’t know what to do. Obviously, she needed to take the plate that was missing half of the food in the dish. She finally offered to take it back to the kitchen to get it corrected. The server let us know it would be a few minutes before the dish would be ready. That was fine because I was finishing my salad. She brought a fresh dish with 5 shrimp and more pasta than before. I let it slide that it should have had 6 shrimp. Now the lemon butter sauce was not good. I’ve had much better sauce at Carrabbas. It was too lemony. I think it was lacking enough butter. I gave it two stars because the salad was good and the server tried to do her best. I understand there’s a learning curve...
Read moreDO NOT TRUST THEIR DELIVERY. ON DOORDASH OR ONLINE, AT ALL. So tonight was supposed to be like any other night, especially since a special someone was graduating. I had purchased a meal on door dash many hours prior so that that special someone could enjoy a graduation meal right before we got into a binge marathon. However, I was met with disappointment as the meal I had ordered claim to be on route but it never arrived. And since they have a crafty way in which they set up their DoorDash, I was not able to go to support like I usually do for these types of situations and get my money back. So not only have they lied and scammed me out of my money, they wasted my time, and wasted what was supposed to be a good day for a special graduate. If they keep doing these scummy business practices and they don't actually deliver on their promises, one day someone is going to sue this place up and down and all around.
And come to think of it. I've seen multiple numerous reviews saying that the food is below so par and even raw in some cases. So in hindsight it was actually good that we never received this food. I wasn't looking to take a newly graduated youngster to the emergency room anyways.
Will not be ordering any type of meals from here ever again. And I will make sure that doordash knows of their lying schemes so they can be removed...
Read moreI pre-scheduled an order at 4:25pm for a delivery between 6:45-7:05p same day via Uber Eats. At 7:06p, I called the restaurant asking for an update, and was told that the driver has picked it up and will be there shortly. I waited until 7:45p and it was still not delivered. I drove to the restaurant to ask for an update and was told that the food was coming from their Port Wentworth location and not Rincon, and that they couldn’t call the driver for an update. I was then told that it would be there in about 20 minutes, which I questioned since the employee didn’t even verify with the driver. No apology from the employee, and certainly treated it like an inconvenience for her. The order was also not trackable through the app. While at the restaurant, there were 2 other phone calls calling about their orders as well. I will never be ordering a delivery from this restaurant again. If restaurants cannot keep up with the demand via food delivery apps, then they should not participate or advertise on them.
