I have been a repeat loyal customer for almost 2 years. My entire office staff eats there during the week. However the food has declined. On several occasions it was either too burnt or salty. Tonight was the last straw .
I ordered 2 chicken teriyaki . When my husband brought them home they were burnt. Unortunately my kids had started eating. when I called to complain, I was told to come and pick up a replacement which I did. However I decided that I wanted them to see what I was complaining about and brought back the 2 plates; one was half eaten by the kids. The lady manager told me that she is giving me 2 plates and mine are already eaten.... Well how was I supposed to know what it tasted like? I was not even told to bring the food back Was i supposedto have the kids regurgitate the food and bring it back? . I told her I eat there every week almost... she says I know, I remember you. I was so upset I took 1 of the replacement dinner plates out of the bag and gave it back to her. She told me no keep it. I said absolutely not... I do not need this kind of favors. I told her that it was unacceptable that as a loyal customer I didn't appreciate the way she treated me. They have just lost a customer and I will make sure that my staff knows so they can be aware of how they treat you when you have a legitimate complaint. It is not the 1st time that I thought food that was burn or salty but I have never complained but tonight was the last straw. I chose to eat there. There are many Japanese restaurants around here. They have just lost my respect, my business and their reputation.
Oh and they replied on their Facebook page basically calling me a liar thay i brought back one empty plate and one half full. Apparently that is their MO since it was done to another customer. They do not own up to their mistakes and keep compounding the problem. Seriously really bad...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to try this place for dinner, as we are fans of sushi and hibachi. Walking in to the restaurant the first thing I noticed was the smell. Not a pleasent smell, more like something you'd smell in the rodent section of the pet store next door. We were met by a young lady that gave wonderful customer service and this is the reason for a second star. My wife and I got bento boxes. The contents of my box were as follows: 1. Teriyaki Chicken, the chicken was bland and the sauce was so-so. 2. Shrimp Tempura, the flavor was ok at best after getting over finding a hair in one of the pieces. 3. Bland Rice, that no amount of soy sauce could fix. 4. Dumplings, that resembled soggy sacks of mush with no flavor. 5. A WARM California roll, why would you put a cold menu item in a box full of hot food? Besides the temperature they really skimp on crab and avocado. It was made of mostly bland rice.
All in all this place deserves a lesser rating than they have. Dissapointment as a word doesn't do how I'm...
Read moreI am a new customer. I wanted to get guidance regarding a certain plate. After trying to ask questions there was a cashier with no restaurant shirt and nothing but tons of makeup/ eyeliner on. She was very short with me and wasn't trying to be bothered. I just left and as I was doing a review. I noticed one of the owners coming out the restaurant assisting a customer. I spoke to the owner and pretty much let her know that the cashier was being short with me and she told me to come and that she would take my order. She seem like she really cared about what I was telling her about the cashier. She told me it will never happen again and that she hopes I come back. Just for that she earned my respect and business. I appreciate her and the food...
