To say I'm picky is an understatement. It literally took me over two years to decide what style/look of sofas I wanted in redecorating our den - mostly because my husband and I couldn't agree and we weren't in any hurry, just looking every now and then. I looked at photos online, visited furniture stores, sat on sofas and chairs.  Some things I knew for sure: I wanted comfort and quality (I want furniture to last), preferably American-made by a company that still makes furniture in the traditional way it was made when I grew up. (That is increasingly difficult to find at retailers.)  The saying, “You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince” comes to mind, because boy, did we sit on some cheaply-made, uncomfortable sofas and chairs at other stores!

We kept stopping in to Studio 34 over the last two years to see what they had, talking to them about our ever-changing ideas, getting suggestions. The quality was there, they had many good brands and good prices, too. My husband and I sat on two different CR Laine sofas there that had the feeling we were after, but not quite the look. I knew we were on the right track.

Marilyn, Kate and Chris are incredibly patient, kind and helpful. They truly know their products. They showed us different brands, styles and sizes in store and online that might work in our space, they taught us about different cushions and how to order the firm feel we were after, they worked tirelessly to show us coordinating fabric samples to check out. (They wisely advised us to take swatches home to see how they looked in our own lighting which saved us several times from choosing the wrong fabrics or having to repaint the entire two story room!)

When I finally decided, somewhat nervously, that I like the look of two different sofas in different colors for our den, Kate’s input was invaluable. She suggested ways to blend/coordinate different styles, sizes, and fabrics so that the room would still look put together. I placed an order for two different CR Laine sofas with upgraded cushions during a great sale that even included custom orders!

Last week our sofas were delivered. We both absolutely LOVE them!  They are so well-made, very comfortable, and look amazing!  They changed the entire room from frumpy to fabulous!  We're going back to order a coordinating chair.

There are solid reasons why Studio 34 has so many great reviews and repeat customers. The building of our new custom home was complete and it was time to furnish it. Well, throughout the initial attempt to begin furnishing our new home we experienced some of the worst customer service imaginable: damaged goods, rude, uncaring business people & disrespectful treatment, then my husband, Luther discovered Studio 34 right up the road from our new home. From our very 1st furniture order back in Dec 2023 to our last order, today we have received top notch service in every way. Although, they are on the more expensive end due to the more expensive furnishings they sale, we couldn’t be more satisfied. They are always able to get us exactly what we want at a savings. We love Hooker furniture and they specialize in top quality brands which we tremendously appreciate. We have ordered at least a 12+ furniture items to date. Never scratched or damaged. At Studio 34 they receive the items inspect them making sure they are perfect and then they contact us for delivery. We went down to Newnan and looked at ALL the big box retailers, and could not find what we were looking for. We went into Studio 34 on our way back, ended up buying our bedroom suite. Went back the next day and bought dining room table and bench. They were very honest with lead times, told us upfront it would several months. Fast forward six months, we are still getting the run around from the big box on the couches we ordered and studio 34 delivered BEFORE their estimate! We agreed we would rather buy quality, reliable furniture from a local business then “save” at the big box. I highly recommend this family owned business, from selection to delivery it was nothing but a five star experience.
