Starbucks has been advertising the free hot chocolate all month for a December promotion. I use the mobile app for all purchases which is typically 2-3 times a week. I ordered the qualifying beverage and sent my husband to pickup my order. When he inquired about the free hot chocolate they informed him that they needed the receipt......FOR A MOBILE ORDER. I sent him back with the receipt from my app. The store would still not honor the promotion. I then downloaded the app to my husband's device and for the next 2 pickups, they still would not honor the promotion. When I called the store the manager he informed me that I had to add the drink to the app to apply the discount. But I asked him if I just walked in and ordered a drink, would he honor the promotion and he said yes. He also informed me that in the event the free hot chocolate is not added to the mobile order you could present a receipt and they will honor the promotion. When I told him about them denying the promotion three times and me wanting to come to the store and present my receipt for my missing hot cocoa, he told me that it was nothing he could do about it. Needless to say, I called corporate about the manager BRYCE. I spend $50 a week on Starbucks and you can't give me a free $3 hot cocoa WHICH WAS...
Read moreEven though I donât come into Starbucks that often once a month, Iâll go in and grab a decaf and they always get it right in Philadelphia. Iâve always had good experiences. Theyâre very quick and efficient and take their jobs. Seriously I just happen to be in Georgia, and a family friend works at one not far from where they live in Kennesaw. I have to give a shout out to Gio who works at this location, and takes his job very seriously as I have talked with him about his endeavors, I like the fact that the staff cross trains on everything, so they are able to work every part of the store. I ordered a decaf latte that was spot on And my sonâs girlfriend always gets a ham and Swiss croissant just about every day I was staying here for the week, so we made many trips to Starbucks I just happened to come in when our family friend was working there. The two young ladies that were working behind the counter were flowing well. Also taken care of the window and other orders. This is a great place to take time to relax and study, Work on the laptop computer, or to invite a friend. I took some photos and a few videos. I would like to see a couple more vegan options available at Starbucks other than that a great...
Read moreI'm sad that I have to write this review because a few baristas are great, but a barista (manager) rolling eyes at a loyal customer who tries hard to be respectful and patient is just extremely unprofessional, not to mention just kinda mean. I've gotten to the point I have anxiety when approaching the drive thru, I always feel like I'm walking on eggshells, never knowing what might be the annoyance of the day that makes them mad.
After a bunch of trips through the drive thru and almost crying after leaving, I realized going to Starbucks should make you feel GOOD and make your day better! Not anxious and sad.
As a loyal regular I just don't understand why they don't put any effort into getting to know me or my drink. Even if they get it wrong, just a little bit of kindness goes a long way.
My husband was in the emergency room a few weeks ago and I came through the drive thru already having a rough day, then when they were so short and demeaning to me I was Just thinking, "man, a smile or an ounce of kindness would have really meant so much to me". You never know what someone else is going through.
I'm ready to drive completely out of my way for the baristas on exit 7 who bring a...
