UPDATE ON MY REVIEW Nov 5th 2022: I have to lower my stars on this place. It's a damn shame about this place. The ownership is clearly running this establishment on the cheap. The only reason to patronage this place is to watch certain games. FOOD: Just disappointing, heavy fried, greasy, old iceberg lettuce in multiple salads I've ordered and returned several times. Almost burnt, to burnt no seasoning of the dishes I've ordered. I've had to return Coke drinks several times for weak tasting low syrup and carbonation on a coke?? Who cheapens Coke??? It's like carbonated water. I can see ownership going cheap. Tried a new menu item, their boneless chicken with broccoli. My God, it was one of the worst dishes I've ever tasted from a Sports/Dive Bar (See the pic) Not a execution of a dish ANY establishment serving food would attempt to put on the menu. The chicken had NO taste and tough, the broccoli was cold watered down with a mystery type of sauce or something if you can call it that. Food is pretty bad, cheap and just gross. As a military combat veteran that lived all over and have patronized a lot of Sports/Dive Bars, I can tell you this is the worst I've been too. PERIOD!!! Service: High turn over wait staff (a little more training) and bartenders are good. No issue there, they make up for the food. Atmosphere: The back room always has ac blowing consistently. Ive seen more and more people are uncomfortable with sitting in the back area of this establishment. Due to the fan and HVAC system is like a cooler back their, even in the summer it's too cold and people leave. I've seen couples to groups being seated and then within 5min asking the server to reseat them. The back area always has open seating due to this point. Several servers have have told me this as well when I've complained. This has been a known issue and yet the management has not made it comfortable for its patrons in the back area AC is on even in the winter time. The booths are old and give you that 1970s feel with hard wooden seats. Some of the seat are old and creak lol. It's really sad that you go to the back area were there is alot of TV's and seats just open but the front is packed full. Fix the HVAC problem This has been going on since the summer freezing in the back area. SMDH Sometimes, the TVs work and sometimes there are issues with the TVs having the NFL Package playing. Some of the TVs don't work or it's a pain to find the remotes. It's a damn shame and I feel sorry for the staff. Some TVs are smart TVs so it's a challenge to turn the TVs to different games. Men's Bathroom: Ok, I've been in military for over 13 yrs in combat theaters. I've had better toilet paper in Iraq & Afghanistan than this place. I'll just leave it at that. Cheap Bring your food I am telling you, or eat before you get here!!! Just a warning. Fire the ownership and get a management team that will give this place the potential to make it a real Sports Bar!!!

My partner and I have been coming here for years. We have never once had anything less than a stellar experience. Between Nicole, Ali, Sydney, and Peyton the bar is stacked with brass, class, and most importantly sass. They carry Heineken 0.0 and Athletic products which are an outstanding alternative to your regular beer with zero difference in quality. Then there is the food…my gawd the food. With Ulysses and Ché holding it down in spades in the AM and Chef Mark and Chef Derek running the show at night this place is a must visit if only for the cuisine. The specials change monthly and, apart from their greatest hits, (the bratwurst and beer mustard on a hoagie and Chicken pot pie are ridiculous) they feature an authentic array of tacos every Tuesday. Suburban Tap has also started daily lunch specials. Samantha (my partner for life) had the Chicken Salad Sando which was savory and delicious. Before you ask: yes, I stole some of hers. Between poker on Thursdays and Trivia and open-mic nights throughout the week there is something for everyone. They are also a great place to bring the family after a ball-game, a sports practice, or just a Wednesday. Apart from everything I have written, Suburban Tap is, above all, a heart-filled establishment. The lovely ladies and gentlemen will pour your drinks and, if you’re not careful, steal your hearts. ;) Love you guys.

If you want an old school neighborhood tavern atmosphere serving great food this is your place. There wings are huge and cooked perfect every time, crispy outside and juicy on the inside. There wings sauces are amazing, their habanero is homemade and you can tell! There scorcher, the hottest one they have is amazing, great flavors, but watch out I'm not kidding it's hot! I've tried the fried pickles and they batter was real, not frozen, they were great. They have nightly specials, one I tried was grilled chicken nuggets with your choice of side, I chose grilled broccoli, loved both! They have both inside and outside seating, but note the outside is where all the smokers go then go back inside. So if you're there to eat outside note you're in a smoking section. The inside is non-smoking, thank God, tight but warm and rustic like a good bar should be, lots of both and table seating. Staff are always friendly, service is great and there is tons of humor if you sit at the bar and listen to the regulars. Love it. Parking is problem, it's tight with very few spaces. Would I go here again, of course, I do already. :)

I was on an Uber delivery for this restaurant. The customer ordered a lot of hot and wet food (spicy chicken wings, cheese sticks with mozzarella sauce, etc.). They decided to pack several boxes in one paper bag that was overflowing and none of the boxes were wrapped in plastic bags like they did with other customers' boxes. I get to the customer's house, and when I go to pick up the bag of food, all the contents fall out of the bottom onto my brand new car's floor and seats. The customer, who was severely handicapped, was kind enough to help me clean up the mess and didn't even ask for a refund from the restaurant despite half his food being on my car floor. After about 30 minutes of cleaning the hot sauce and mozzarella sauce, I decide to go back to the restaurant to ask for a compensation for the mess. I asked if they had any proper cleaning products I could use to clean the remove the remaining oils from the food that were soaked into my car at that point and was also giving off a pungent smell. (I couldn't do any more driving for Uber that night with a smelly, oily car due to fear of customer complaints so my night was over in terms of driving, and any money I could've potentially made was gone.)The person at the restaurant said they didn't have any cleaning products to loan out, so I asked if I could have $10 to buy some from Walmart as I was very broke just being a student (I had bought a car with the intention of paying it off though Uber rides). They said only the manager can decide that. I asked to speak to the manager. They said OK, but then send out the kitchen's chef to come out to talk to me instead. I explain to him the whole story, and at the end he goes, "Oh, I'm just the chef. I can't help you." At this point, I am frustrated (I think reasonably so) and ask if I could speak to an actual manager. They tell me I have to wait about an hour before she gets there. I waited in their uncomfortably freezing cold restaurant for her for about 1.5 hours. She finally gets there and tells me it was my fault for not securing the food properly. She then asks to see the mess and I told her I cleaned most of it up so nothing is very visible (black seats in the car) but the oils from the food are definitely still there. She thinks I am lying at this point, so she tells that I need to talk to the owner if I want anything resolved, but he's on vacation and won't be back until after the weekend. She promises me that if I come back, the owner will pay for a detailed cleaning. Since, I had only asked for $10 originally, I thought the detail was the better deal so I was happy to oblige. I came back on Monday (granted this is over an hour from my house) however, and the owner was not there. Then, a different manager told me they were no longer going to help me because I was being rude on Friday. (I tried to be nice for over an hour, and I was only irritated at the fact they were clearly giving me the run around and blamed the food packing on me.) I said OK, and then called the police to file a report. I took the report to the Uber HQ in Atlanta and get a $200 compensation from them. I am happy Uber was willing to help me, but I have nothing but disgust for this restaurant and...

Other than how it reeks of urine, I'm convinced the poker game is rigged. I've played at least 30 times, and the only time I made it close to finishing in top 3 was when I was the dealer. It's usually the same people dealing, and the same people making it to the final table... and they come to the table with enormous chip stacks... the regulars that are there every week can play well, but in poker you don't always win, which they seem to do. It's a very rare occurrence to see one of these regular players to get knocked out early in the tournament, and this is FREE poker nonetheless, but even in free poker, people want to cheat and win. Been playing tournament poker for 20 plus years, and I have won all kinds of tournaments including free ones, but at the Suburban tap, not even made it to top 3. I know there is cheating because cards are marked, I've witnessed dealers dealing from bottom of deck, etc. I'm just trying to find a place to have fun and a good time and play cards, but unfortunately the closest place stinks of pee and has a bunch of cheaters! Also, the TVs are horrible, I would never go there to watch a game, tables are crammed together, bathrooms are dire, and no eye-candy anywhere in sight. Another problem about poker is that people seem to get more starting chips than others, I get it, the more you drink/eat the more chips you get, but just look and count the chips, and some people are starting with 1,500 and others have 12,000 ... that means they would have already spent close to $100 on food and beer? I call BS on that. People are also sneaking in phony 1,000 and 5,000 value chips... you can tell because there's an odd looking chip mixed in here and there... it's just pitiful to cheat at a free game, I complained once about the marked cards and the guy running the game said to try and use that to my own personal advantage! Really?? Wow, what's the point? what's sad is it took me almost a year to give up this place... but yet, there's not many other options for free poker... and other locations are just as bad of a...
