I arrived last week asking that my check engine light be addressed and solved. I was given an amount to pay and repairs done. Before I even left the parking lot the check engine light was on again. The mechanic came out, said it was not related, should remedy itself, and not to worry. He then cleared it out only to have it return again in a mile or so. I drove for 200+ miles, as instructed to have everything reset. As I was heading to trade the car in for a new car, the light came on and the car started acting horribly. I pulled into an parts store and had them read the codes immediately. Wow, every code they said was fixed was back plus a few new codes. I called them and asked them to explain what I paid for. I was told I would have to bring it in but that they had a lot of new customers that day and I'd have to wait for them to make that new money before they could correct their error. I went to a closer one since the car was functioning so poorly, they told me the same thing. New money seemed to take precedence over money they had already collected. The second location did print me a bill from my visit and to my surprise they had charged me for service that I didn't need as well as for the poor repairs previously mentioned. So, I drove to the original location, waited a while, and then was told, "Hey, we don't know whats wrong. We did a crappy job. Here's your key. If you need anything else the manager will be in Monday (it was Saturday)." They gave me the vacationing Manager's card and sent me away. Of course, I called the home office number to see if they could help me. Turns out the district manager was on vacation as well and not taking any calls either. The only thing they could do was give me his first name. No-one in the entire company has cell phones or emails to speak of apparently (Gosh I wish I could just check out like that at my job). I was told that someone would try to call me back in a few days...hopefully. It is now Monday, no calls, and the car sits broken. I am trying to contact anyone (BBB, attorney, etc.) while I wait for everyone to return from vacation.
Update....i was able to get someone on the phone Monday that said my message and problem would be related... again 2 days till they call me back... again! The lady I spoke with was lovely but again no-one can do Anything till 2 days from today. I'm now on Monday and still waiting... more to come?
Update: I called the store directly. Stanton Sellers, the GM who returned from vacation, has already left for the day having not done a thing or called. Ill keep updating till someone at this awful company responds with solutions.
Update: Maurice Martin (Area Manager) contacted me today 9/25/18 asking what was the problem. I was a little put off given he didn't seem to know any details about the situation and had several days to research the problem. Since he called while I was at work I had to shorten the entire story so I could get back to my job. He suggested I go somewhere else (with no promise that I would be reimbursed for the trouble). Since I was in a rush I ended the call and got back to work. The next day, I realized the cost of his idea and tried calling him back, he sent me to voicemail and started sending texts instead! It seemed horribly unprofessional to text about a problem that has gotten this far, plus how could he be too busy to do his job!? I called corporate, again (3rd or 4th time.) only to find out that in order to find another person who doesn't text I must wait another 24 to 48hrs! I then reluctantly texted him back asking for his boss. He has since not responded. Had he responded with the information I would, at least be speaking to someone who has time for solutions. Instead he has decided to wash his hands of the problem and take a vacation like the rest. I have now contacted an attorney and am waiting for the case to be reviewed. More to come I hope!?
Nothing was done and I had to pay for the damage and then buy another car. Good luck to anyone who tries...

And I HATE giving negative reviews but at this point I've attempted for 3 weeks to make this right and have been perked around so I want to warn others to stay away from this location. I had a nail in my tire. I knew I needed both front tires replaced, but only one had a giant hole and nail in it
A)I went in and told them specifically which tire to replace. (Front passenger). I told them to not replace any others. That those would be fixed in 2 weeks. 2)I received no calls until the one where I needed to pick up the car. The store manager said they tried to reach me, but the only missed call I had was when the car was ready. So that is a lie. 3)when I picked up the car, nobody told me that the tire I requested be changed was not changed. Nobody told me the tire with the giant hole and nail was still there. I was actually told that I was good to drive for a few weeks. I was not given an invoice. 5)the next day, I drove about 30 minutes and my PSI went from 38 to 18. This was when I realized the tire I requested had not been changed. And there was no way I was good to drive for 2 weeks as I could not even drive 1 day. 6) when I called the store, I was told many different things, and I finally talked to a woman named Anita who simply kept telling me they changed the tire with the most damage. She was SO combative and rude that I ended up Telling her fine and whatever telling her insulting offer of 50% for the tire I actually wanted because I was literally CRYING 7) I waited nearly 2 weeks for calls back. I FINALLY was able to hear from the store manager, Amanda, after corporate called her and made her talk to me. She was also combative and rude, telling me that since I agreed to the discount on the tire, I was a liar and this was useless and she refused to refund me FOR THEIR MISCOMMUNICATION.
At this point, this location has been horrible. They did not communicate. They have lied. They have yelled. This company has done nothing to help me. I have not even received an apology for the fact that them not telling me about the tire not being fixed left me on the side of the road on July 4th to change a tire.    Read moreI have been a Firestone customer for over three or four years until today. I came to Firestone at 9 AM this morning and I wanted my tires checked and I wanted an oil change. I was told that I would be contacted if I needed a wheel alignment or if I didn't need one so I could either agree to get it or not. These people have the audacity to not call me but call my mother. I called up there before I came there so they had my number and The Man working there told me he had my number and would call me which he did not do. I called before I got there to pick up my car and asked them how much my bill was and they said 60 bucks and when I get there I'm told it's 165 because my mom authorized an alignment. The issue is that they did not keep their word and call me the owner of the car my number and name is under my mom's account but it's under my name as well. No one should be authorizing a car that they did not buy and that they do not pay for and if someone is going to tell me that they're going to call me the owner of the car they should call me. I don't even understand how someone can authorize a vehicle that they didn't even bring into the shop. And the excuse I got was all your mom said to me that she would call you. I never asked anyone to call my mom I confirmed twice that they would call me and they did not keep their word. They got over on my mom and made her think that all these issues needed to be taken care of now and got her to charge her Firestone credit card which I had them give her a refund on it and I paid for it with my money and took the L. I will not be going to Firestone anymore and they have lost my business for life. They did not do anything but apologize and say that parents should help their kids which has nothing to do with someone who's grown dropping off their car to get it fixed and asking to be called if any extra charges need to be made. I am disgusted with this company now. And if all I'm going to get is sorry when they did not keep their word I do not want any part of this company.
