This is the worst customer service experience I have had simply because the girl that was attending was not doing her job. I had to go to the front i asked her a question about placing a to go order at the front, she was chatting with her friend about nothing, and didn’t even take her eyes off her and says “yeh yea i got it” dismissively.
Then she walked PAST our table, look at our table, go around the counter, did her thing and then proceed to walk back around her table where I had to ask her “Hi can I have a refill of water and lemonade please?”. And she said okay and didn’t come back until literally 10 minutes later with just the lemonade and we were done eating.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind waiting if she acknowledged us and just give a thumbs up, “everything’s good?”. I would wait 10 minutes for my lemonade and be okay, but it’s the fact that with both interactions we’re dismissive. They had three tables , 4 waiters.
But through the entire process , it was unwelcoming and rushing us just to go around the corner and talk about nothing.
I have never complained to a waiter before ever and I have seen some lazy ones. But what’s different here is this girl did not even say hello, or everything’s good or offered a refill for my water or my drink through the ENTIRE process . I’m okay with her not smiling or creating conversation bc I don’t care for that, but the acknowledgment was not there.
I could excuse her behavior if it’s her first rodeo, but it wasn’t, she was just lazy.
For a $25 order, I saved my $15 tip bc she couldn’t handle two bowls (same thing) and a drink, the world’s simplest orders for me...
Read moreI will start this off by saying my wife and I have eaten at this location so often that I have the number saved in my phone. With that being said, the experience we had today was HORRIBLE. While walking in the host ( very helpful) indicated that I could sit outside. I proceed to sit outside on what was a nice day to have dinner with my wife who arrived roughly 10 minutes later.
Neither waitress that was responsible for outside seating even acknowledged that we were there. One proceeded to talk to a table near us about dessert and eventually went inside. She then brings water to a table that was sat AFTER my wife and I, only to pass us and go to another table that was bussed by the host while we sat there and proceeded to take her order.
It was at that time that I made it known that we had been sitting for over twenty minutes, no greeting, no water and oh by the way, the only party of color on the patio. Extremely frustrated, I told my wife we are leaving. She then attempted to get management and they even took time to get to her. Needless to say an establishment that we have spent thousands of dollars at will not get a dime of our money moving forward.
IF we want Taqueria Tsunami, we will go to the Marietta Square location...
Read moreI am very, very, very disappointed in this restaurant. My mom was visiting out of town to help me and spend time with me. Yesterday around 3:39 pm: the hostess who said his name was “Marvin”: stated that I can not enter his restaurant because I have a service animal and emotional support, who was completely locked in and covered in its stroller. “Marvin” clearly stated that we cannot eat on the inside but stated that we can sit in the hot sun on the patio. I became very upset and disappointed. I asked for a manager: he went to the back and said manager not here. I then showed him my valid card for my service animal. I left the restaurant mad and sad. I cannot help I have a disability. The question is: 1) is it because I’m not the same color as him??? 2) he don’t accept service animal/emotional support in the restaurant. I left the restaurant. There was not any customers there except my mom and I. Why was I discriminated against: I’m not sure. This was the only restaurant that has ever turned me away. I only want to eat the shrimp salad and empanadas. It was going to be my mom 1st there. We came a long way to eat. I’m disappointed in “Marvin “ and did not apologize for his actions- he wasn’t...
