Beware. This is a franchise, not a corporate store. Therefore, they will not honor all of the coupons. This is deplorable. 2. Twelve days ago I had 30 minutes of time to kill so I went and got some food and a drink there. As it turns out, the drink machine was not working properly. The staff knew this. They still sold me a drink that was not drinkable. I asked to talk to the manager and franchise owner. Neither were there. They gave me a bottle of soda instead. I asked if the manager and owner knew that the drink machine was not working properly. I was told yes. So, they were selling drinks that they knew were garbage. Charging for awful swill. I went today to get food and a drink (12 days later, as I stated). The drink machine has still not been fixed but they are still selling drinks to customers who are not being told this. This is despicable and unethical. 3. The manager needs to be fired. Subway needs to strip the franchise from the imbecile who is running it ... running it into the ground. Does corporate care what the Subway image is? Will they even see this? What a sad state of affairs. Subway was once great. This is scandalous. Do yourself a favor and go to Publix. They have subs and one is on sale every week. You do not have to worry about being told: ""No ... no special for you!" And they always have nice...
Read moreWent in today with my teen who was being disrespectful. She was asked to move multiple times, nicely by her sister and I so that her sis could see the toppings. She refused. I had enough of her disrespect that had been ongoing throughout the day, grabbed the sleeve of her sweater (not her skin) and physically moved her out of the way and told her to get her act together. Miranda, the subway employee there, told me it is never ok to hit your kids and insinuated that I was a child abuser in front of my kids. She looked at my teen and said “are you safe? Do you need help?” All because I grabbed the sleeve of her sweater and moved her over. This was COMPLETELY inappropriate. I was absolutely frustrated with my teens behavior as I’m sure this person could sense, but as any teen parent knows.. that’s part of it. I did not hit anyone and I am disgusted by this employees intervention in a family matter where no wrong was done. I was furious and asked if she has kids or has raised a teen, and if she had any idea of my child’s behavior before we entered her store. She said no to all questions. She has no right and no place to say those things at all. I will never enter this establishment again and I have filed a complaint...
Read moreOnce again, Subway on Wilmington Island, GA has changed management. Our family has been regulars for many years with positive outcomes. Today was, well, our last. Upon arriving on a Wednesday afternoon to a near empty establishment, we were advised they had no wheat or white bread, no ice tea (sweet & unsweet), no Dr. Pepper, dwindling selection of chips, and an unapologetic manager who was totally disinterested in my patronage. The only excuse given was "we don't have it." The young man making our sandwiches was very kind and worked as quickly as he could as a line was forming behind us. No other staff were seen until I went to pay. The NEW manager abruptly appeared from the back to check me out. The young man went back to making sandwiches for the next person. Coupons that had been accepted for years (even recently expired ones) were turned away. Staff shortages have been a problem for most businesses, and Subway is not immune. I wish them well, but we will be driving a little further to Jersey Mike's where supplies and inventory aren't a problem. Along with a smile and a dose of...
