Let me just start off and say that if 0 stars was a choice that's what I would have picked. Years ago when I would go to this subway I would be pretty satisfied. But recently they've SUCKED. The first couple times I've gone this month the employees have just been slow, and I just let it slide. I just got home from this Subway, and I am honestly shocked that any person could be so terrible at a job. But should I be surprised, they have been god awful my previous visits. But this time was something else. The guy who started off making my sandwiches asked me 3 times what I wanted and would then turn around do something. Finally when he started making my sandwich he would jump back and forth between the 3 sandwiches I was ordering and would keep messing them up. Then a hornet happens to fly into right into the guys face and of course he's afraid of hornets. So he literally steps back and says "I am not going to do anything until that hornet is gone." Meanwhile I'm standing here trying not to yell in his face and just leave with a sandwich. After he finally takes 5 minutes swatting the hornet away he finishes making my sandwiches and I storm out the door swearing I would never go back again. So if you're ever driving into Dahlonega and wanting subway just keep driving to the one inside Walmart or the one on North Grove Street you...
Read moreWe went by to grab a sandwich on our way home, it'd been awhile since we'd had a Subway, si it sounded really good at the time. Unfortunately, it was anything but good. The first thing we find out is that wheat was the only bread they had left - I like wheat so, not too bad. After deciding which sandwiches we wanted, had the meat on the bread as well as the cheese and having it toasted, we were informed that they were also out of tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and I can't remember what all else. Needless to say we were very disappointed! We were nearly home and there are no other places nearby to get a bite to eat, so we ended up taking the sandwiches. I need to add that the employees were very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as possible and even gave us a discount on our sandwiches. As it turns out the chicken on my sub was very watery when I bit into it, I ate about half of the 6" sub and threw away the rest. My boyfriend's was a little better - disappointing, never the less. It was very plain, he said it didn't have much flavor. We won't be going back in there again. Luckily if we start craving a sub sandwich, there are 2 other...
Read moreWish I could give them a zero. I have never had a sandwich this bad. The bread was so stale and hard that oi couldn’t even begin to bite into it. There were only six slices of meat on it all piled up on one end of the bread. Subway’s recipe is 12 slices. I used to Manage a Subway and if any of my employees served a sandwich like that I would have been horrified and so would the owner.
When I pulled up the door was locked with a sign on the door saying they would be closed for the next hour. An employee did come to the door and let me in. He said that they were closed so they could restock. If they were so busy that they had to close to restock then there is no reason for the bread to have been hard as a brick.
It’s to bad that there service was so bad. They are the closet store to me and I drove 5 miles to get there because I had really wanted Subway. Never again…I’ll just go to Firehouse or Jersey Mikes right...
