I decided after 10 years of not stepping inside a Subway due to quality of food to give them one more shot after hearing about the new fresh ingredients from the commercials. I received a coupon to bogo so I decided to pick up after shopping inside Walmart. I ordered and went to check out so I handed my coupon to the lady. She handed back and the price did not change. I ask why and she was unable to speak clearly for anyone to understand. I said you did not take my coupon and then finally I understood her and she said we don't take coupons. So I left and the owner came out from the back and waved me back in and ask what was wrong. I said I wanted to use the coupon bogo and you refused so I am going to another subway. He then stated I will take the coupon but you are causing me to lose money. This was so embarrassing in front of customers and Walmart Employees to blame me for him losing money. I said you have no sign stating you do not accept coupons. He said next time ask. I said there will not be a next time. After eating the sub I would not go back. It was awful, nothing changed at all. The food compared to Firehouse/Publix/Newk's is -0. No change in their qualify of food. Joy is amazing and her subs look like a picture! She's fast, friendly, and always makes me buy more than I wanted. Lately I haven't seen her in the mornings and I hate it because she's a welcome positive energy before work. Owners, do yourselves a favor and keep that Taru lady AWAY from people! She sucks soooo bad and you will never make any real money with that mean woman as the first face and first point of contact your customers have. I requested she take it off she did and just placed it back I. The stack of tomatoes. The drink machines haven’t been working in weeks. The food is inconsistent from mediocre to poor.
