My family ate here the first time yesterday afternoon and we will not be returning. When we arrived we were the second family there and there were three waiters so I figured things would be good. Food smelled good, so that was a plus. Our waiter came and brought chips and dip which were great and got our waters out, even better. After that, we didn’t hardly see the guy again. I had to go and hunt him down for another serving of chips after patiently waiting 30 minutes for him to come back out and check on us! Mind you, it’s still one family sitting inside and it’s not busy! The food comes out and LOOKS delicious. The fajitas are a complete rip off! $13.95 for 8 pieces of chicken and nothing but lightly cooked peppers and onions! They mine as well have been raw! Not to mention the lack of flavor the chicken had. It literally tasted like they just sprinkled taco seasoning on the chicken after cooking it and threw some Goya on for color! The beef tacos taste like warmed up Alpo! That is not Piccadillo ground beef! Also, the flour tortillas tasted funny like they had a chemical smell. When it was time for the bill, we had to go find another waiter to get our ticket and the server was nowhere to be found. I’m guessing he needs more training, as even another server had to come help get the plates off the table and thanked us for coming. The food really needs help. The best thing was the chips and dip. I would not...
Read moreA WONDERFUL DINING EXPERIENCE I had such a wonderful dining experience yesterday at Los Hermanos on Sugarloaf Pkwy in Lawrenceville. I have dined at this location many times over the years beginning in 2012 and this is the first experience that I have ever shared with anyone. I personally feel that the quality of restaurant dining in general has become horrible over time both dine-in and fast food or take out. It is difficult to find quality food, quality atmosphere, and it's impossible the get quality service anywhere. However, the reason I'm sharing my experience from Los Hermanos with you is because I received all three of these elements especially with the service from my waitress. My server was Mailin and she was excellent. I can't say enough about her pleasant disposition and her helpful and caring attitude. I hope she's there every time I go back. I had the "Burrito De Pollo En Rajas", my favorite--you have to try it, it's a chicken lovers delight. The food was absolutely delicious. But order this one only if you're really hungry, cause it's big. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. This is truly what I have come to expect from this restaurant, and they deliver every single time. If you haven't visited Los Hermanos on Sugarloaf Pkwy in Lawrenceville, and are open to a recommendation, give them a try. I think you will enjoy them as much as I have....
Read moreFirst time experience — The quality of food weighs heavy in my review. I had a craving for some fish tacos, so I order fish & al Pastor tacos. They were both such a terrible let down, which was disappointing since the ratings for the place were 4+ stars. The fish taco was mediocre. And the sautéed peppers it came with paired poorly with the fish and did nothing for the taste. I should know, I was raised on original Baja fish tacos! Plus the tortillas of the tacos were some kind of imposter corn tortillas, nothing relevant to authentic Mexican cuisine corn tortillas. Regarding the al Pastor taco....it was super sweet in taste—need I say more. It tasted like taking a bite out of some sweet, brown sugar syrup, definitely NOTHING to do with traditional al Pastor tacos. The tacos are completely overpriced for such subpar flavor & taste. I must mention, however, the only thing above average (worth 4 stars) was the Horchata beverage. It was delicious! If I ever have an Horchata craving this will definitely be my go to. As far as the service, our waitress was pleasant & friendly. The place looked clean from what I could observe. And the ambiance in the place was pleasing. The food however, nothing worth...
